RE: ENJOYING MY "BLACK FRIDAY" OF DEALS (En - Es)

I'm curious about why is that called Black Friday? hehe
Also, I can sense the essence of Christmas in that store - El Castillo. Truly Christmas is fast approaching. 😍

Hi, from what I've read, it's a tradition that comes from the USA, and it's the start of Christmas shopping after Thanksgiving. On the last Friday of November, people would go out en masse to do this shopping, and that's why retailers called it Black Friday, and now it's the only day of the year when stores offer their merchandise with huge discounts. It's celebrated all over the world now. Stores like El Castillo have been decorating for Christmas for days, and on Friday they were packed. I love seeing the city dressed up for Christmas; it keeps that tradition alive for us.

Wow, thanks for the brief discussion about Black Friday. Now I know why it's gotten the name Black Friday. And it's good to hear then, that they offered huge discounts on their merchandise. Anyways, thanks again. 😊

A pleasure, beautiful.
