Prepared this beef rice bowl last week for one of our staff meal dinners. I used a tough cut of meat but sliced it thinly then changed the PH of the beef with bicarbonate soda. This is makes the beef so tender and it's just an amazing technique I've fallen in love with.
Let it sit with the beef for 30 minutes then wash and rinse the beef before marinating it with soy sauce, white pepper powder, and corn flour.
Into the deep fryer it goes for 1 minutes to crisp up and it's done. Yep it literally takes 1 minute to cook.
I served the beef with some Vietnamese nước chấm dipping sauce which is really simple to make. Just combine fish sauce, sugar, some
water, minced garlic, and birds eye chili, mix well to combine and done!
I also cooked a quick and easy vegetable dish of cauliflower cooked with garlic, tomatoes and chicken mince. Seasoned with salt and pepper to taste and that's done.
Serve the fried beef and cauliflower on some warm steamed white rice and the dipping sauce on the side and enjoy!
I will go with vegetables dish because I love to eat cauliflower 🤤
