Hello my dear Hivers of the @dailyblog community! I hope you’re all doing well and safe.
Yesterday was a busy day in school. I've been busy reviewing for today's exam, and I’ve been talking nonstop since morning. After two hours of reading and explaining, repeating, and discussing lessons, my mouth and throat started to feel hoarse and dry. It’s one of those days when I realize how much teachers actually talk!
So, during recess time, I decided to take a short stroll around the school just to rest my voice and breathe in some fresh air. I didn’t go far. I just walked around the school grounds, but it was enough to feel refreshed.
As I walked, I noticed a few lovely flowers blooming near the pathways. I took some photos of them because they looked too pretty not to capture.
Then, at the back of the school, I discovered a small water reservoir I hadn’t noticed before. It was simple, but it felt nice seeing something new in a familiar place.
Beside the Grade 1 classroom, I also spotted a lemonsito tree already bearing fruits. Still tiny green ones that looked so fresh and full of life.
But not everything I saw was beautiful. When I passed by the ALS classroom, I noticed its wall was already rotting. There were termites eating through the wood, almost covering the whole wall. It made me a bit sad. This classroom definitely needs attention soon.
Still, that short walk gave me the pause I needed. Sometimes, even when we’re tired, it’s nice to stop, breathe, and appreciate the little things around us.
That's all for today. Thanks for reading this far. Til my next post!
