It's been over three months since the last time my friend and I took a trip away. The reason for our last getaway had been to celebrate my birthday: we were planning this outing well in advance, saving the necessary budget for her and as always, everything went wonderfully well. What we did not know was that in the following three months we would not travel again due to other commitments in daily life. And now I'm in a kind of adventurous withdrawal 😅.
Han pasado más de tres meses desde la última vez que mi amiga y yo hicimos un viaje lejos. El motivo de nuestra última escapada había sido festejar mi cumpleaños: estuvimos planeando este paseo con bastante anticipación, ahorrando el presupuesto necesario para ella y como siempre, todo salió maravillosamente bien. Lo que no sabíamos era que en los siguientes tres meses no volveríamos a viajar debido a otros compromisos en la vida diaria. Y ahora estoy en una especie de abstinencia aventurera 😅.
Currently there are two reasons why I'm not traveling: the first is that the companies that I liked put all their tours on a double basis, so you have to be accompanied or else, an extra charge is paid; and the second reason is that in less than two months my younger sister turns 15 and the whole family is allocating a significant money for that. After November, my budget will no longer be so tight and I hope I can get back on track with regular rides 😃.
Actualmente hay dos motivos por los que no estoy viajando: el primero es el que las empresas que me gustaban pusieron todos sus paseos en base doble, por lo que sí o sí hay que ir acompañado o de lo contrario, se abona un cargo extra; y el segundo motivo es que en menos de dos meses mi hermana menor cumple sus 15 años y toda la familia está destinando un presupuesto importante para eso. Luego de noviembre, mi presupuesto dejará de estar tan ajustado y espero poder volver al ruedo con los paseos regulares 😃.
The last time we got on a plane was to go to the province of Misiones to visit the Iguazú Falls. I already knew this destination, but it is such a wonderful place that it is worth returning a thousand times. We had gotten our tickets online two months in advance so they were quite cheap: that's the key to traveling fast and saving 😃.
La última vez que nos subimos a un avión fue para ir a la provincia de Misiones a visitar las Cataratas del Iguazú. Yo ya conocía este destino, pero es un lugar tan maravilloso que vale la pena volver una y mil veces. Habíamos conseguido nuestros pasajes en línea con dos meses de anticipación así que nos salieron bastante económicos: esa es la clave para viajar rápido y ahorrar 😀.
That time we were lucky that our flight left around 3PM so we could easily get to the airport by public transport. We don't like to play with time, so we arrive with the extra 2 hours of time that they ask for. Since we already had everything ready, we took the opportunity to have lunch while we watched the planes take off. That day we learned that airplanes have fuel tanks in the wings, because they were just recharging it while we were there 😃.
Esa vez tuvimos la suerte de que nuestro vuelo salía alrededor de las 3PM así que pudimos llegar fácilmente al aeropuerto en transporte público. No nos gusta jugar con el tiempo, así que llegamos con las 2 horas extra de tiempo que te piden. Como ya teníamos todo preparado, aprovechamos para almorzar mientras mirabamos a los aviones despegar. Ese día aprendimos que los aviones tienen los tanques de combustible en las alas, porque justo lo estaban recargando mientras nosotras estábamos allí 😃.
I think that no matter how many times you travel by plane: the nerves before boarding, during takeoff and throughout the trip are always there. We live in Buenos Aires, right in the middle of our territory, and to go to Misiones, which is in the north, it only takes 1 hour and a half. It is a walk that goes by quickly and on it we were able to see some incredible landscapes, such as this fields that to this day I try to guess what they are 😅.
Creo que no importa cuántas veces uno viaje en avión: los nervios antes de subir, durante el despegue y en todo el viaje siempre estan. Nosotras vivimos en Buenos Aires, justo en el medio de nuestros territorio, y para ir a Misiones, que está en el norte, solo tardamos 1 hora y media. Es un paseo que se pasa rápido y el él pudimos ver unos paisajes increíbles, cómo por ejemplo estos campos que hasta el día de hoy trato de adivinar de qué son 😅.
Unfortunately, we left with a forecast that included rain for three days: all that area is of the Misiones jungle and in the month of June they have a forecast that 50% of the weather is rainy and hot. Obviously I couldn't change the date of my birthday so we prepared the same and with rain and we were all going to try to have a good time. The first thing we got were pilots and covers to protect cell phones, then we would see what our destination itinerary would be like 😅.
Lamentablemente nos fuimos con un pronóstico que incluía lluvia tres días: toda esa zona es de selva misionera y en el mes de Junio ellos tienen un pronóstico de que el 50% del clima es lluvioso y caluroso. Obviamente no podía modificar la fecha de mi cumpleaños así que nos preparamos igual y con lluvia y todo ibamos a tratar de pasarla bien. Lo primero que conseguimos fueron pilotos y fundas para proteger los celulares, después veríamos como sería nuestro itinerario en destino 😅.
The flight was super smooth and we arrived on time. After taking a small bus to our hostel, we pack our things and go for a walk. Immediately we could feel in our lungs what they said about the humidity: it was a bit difficult for us to breathe and everything was quite sticky, but it was the price to pay for being in that province 😅.
Currently I miss the feeling of excitement we felt planning and executing that whole trip, but for now I can only fondly remember everything we did. I hope we can repeat it soon! ❤️
El vuelo fue super tranquilo y llegamos a tiempo. Después de tomar un pequeño bus de línea hasta nuestro hostel, acomodamos nuestras cosas y salimos a caminar. Inmediatamente pudimos sentir en nuestros pulmones lo que decían de la humedad: nos costaba un poco respirar y todo estaba bastante pegajoso, pero era el precio a pagar por estar en esa provincia 😅.
Actualmente extraño la sensación de emoción que sentimos al planear y ejecutar todo ese viaje, pero por el momento solo me queda recordar con cariño todo lo que hicimos. ¡Espero que pronto lo podamos repetir! ❤️

Viajar es algo fenomenal. No lo hago mucho, pero al hacerlo lo disfruto mucho.
Una vez fui ida y vuelta a un lugar hermoso, pero la estadía del vuelo no fue nada placentero por El Fuerte dolor de oído que me produjo el despegue y el aterrizaje.
Espero que eso 15 años sean por todo lo alto para esa princesa y que ya después de noviembre puedas seguir viajando @lauramica.
Uh si, en mi primer viaje sentí que se me iba a reventar la cabeza literalmente jajaja. Pero creo que con las próximas experiencias te vas acostumbrando... y con respecto al cumple, estoy muy emocionada al respecto así que tampoco me lamento tanto por eso. Ya volveré a salir de paseo :)

Viajar en avión es una experiencia que se vive cada vez como si fuera la primera. Aunque el protocolo se repite uno siempre lo siente como novedoso. No será la última vez que viajes amiga, aún te queda mucho cielo por transitar.

This is an unforgettable experience i must say, traveling is one of the best thing to do at the leisure time. I wish to also have this kind of experience one day ☺️ because I've not be on plane before.

I miss traveling too! I also do not like to play around time, just like you I put extra hours before the departure. I do not like to miss it or else I will pay another ticket.
I tend to be quite unpunctual, but when it comes to traveling by plane I am very careful... hahaha. It must be because the tickets are really expensive 😅.

Bueno, no puedo esperar para viajar en avión y el tuyo fue hace solo tres meses y ya te sientes aburrido. No he subido a un avión antes, pero sé que pronto lo haré.
Wowww que bien que puedas hacer estas escapadas de vez en cuando para disfrutar de lugares de tu país, siempre es muy reconfortante conocer lugares nuevos y si es acompañado mejor, espero pronto ver esas fotos del lugar donde llegaste, estaré pendiente
