There are days when you just gotta stick to your routine to get stuff done, but personally, to make it less boring, I try (when I can, of course, because it's not always possible) to add something out of the ordinary to motivate me to get things done with more enthusiasm. That's why I met up with a friend I hadn't seen in a while to get together, talk, and have a drink. So, welcome to this new post from me, a day with routine and also outside of it. I hope you enjoy it.
Hay días en los que la rutina debe ser cumplida si o si para poder llevar a cabo ciertos deberes pendientes, pero personalmente para que estos no sean tan aburridos intento (en las ocasiones que puedo claramente, porque no siempre es así) agregar algo que salga de la rutina para tener algo que motive a hacer estos deberes con más ánimos, por eso, quedé con una amiga a la cual hace cierto tiempo que no veía para reunirnos, hablar y tomarnos algo, así que, sean bienvenidos a esta nueva publicación de mi parte, un día con rutina y también fuera de ella, espero que lo disfruten.

My mornings are usually quite busy most days. I'm always editing photos, either from previous shoots (sometimes work piles up) or from current shoots I did the day before, so my mornings are all about photography. But spending several hours in front of the computer can be tedious, so I try to break it up by eating a cookie, a piece of bread, or anything else I can have with my coffee. To be honest, I'm not a big coffee lover, but it does the trick from time to time.
I had already planned to meet my friend (Ashley) in the afternoon, so I got ready and we ended up meeting in a fairly busy square. Sometimes it's interesting how we end up meeting people thanks to others, which is why I think friendship is something that should be valued highly. In a way, you connect with someone who may not have anything in common with you, but for some reason you end up understanding each other perfectly, and that's what happens with Ashley, although I would say that we are quite similar in our personalities.
Mis mañana suelen ser un poco ocupadas en la mayoría de días, siempre estoy editando algunas fotografías, ya sean de mis sesiones anteriores (a veces se me acumula el trabajo) y en otras son de sesiones actuales que hice el día anterior, por lo que mis mañanas se basan en fotografías, pero al estar varias horas frente a la computadora puede ser tedioso, por eso intento suavizar todo ya sea comiendo una galleta, un pan o cualquier otra cosa con la que pueda acompañar el café, aunque siendo muy sincero, no soy amante del café, pero de vez en cuando sirve.
Ya había planificado con mi amiga (Ashley) vernos en la tarde, por lo que me preparé y terminamos viéndonos en una plaza bastante transcurrida. A veces es interesante el cómo terminamos conociendo a personas gracias a otras, por eso me parece que la amistad es algo que se debe valorar bastante, de cierta forma conectas con alguna persona que quizás no tenía nada de común contigo, pero por alguna razón se terminan entendiendo perfectamente y esto es lo que me pasa con Ashley, aunque diría que somos bastante parecidos en nuestras personalidades.
Meetings are always fun. They involve talking a lot, catching up on our lives, laughing, telling jokes—anything positive about meeting up with a friend is what I always look forward to when I meet up with Ashley. Even though we don't see each other all the time, there's always that feeling of trust between us, and we end up having a great time as if no time had passed between meetings.
But it's not all about talking, so we decided to go to a place that sells milkshakes in many flavors. I also found out about this place thanks to a great friend, and it has become one of my favorite places to visit. Plus, with so many great milkshake flavors, it's a good place to hang out, sit down, relax, and continue the conversation without any problems. I ordered an apple milkshake and Ashley ordered a strawberry one. We stayed there for quite a while, until it was time to leave. I still had some errands to run, and Ashley was kind enough to accompany me. I ended up buying a few things, including cat food, which is always a necessity.
Las reuniones siempre suelen ser divertidas, se basan en hablar bastante, actualizar cierta información sobre nuestras vidas, reírnos, contar chistes, cualquier aspecto positivo que pueda haber en reunirse con algún amigo es lo que siempre espero cuando me reúno con Ashley, ya que, a pesar de que no nos vemos constantemente, siempre hay ese sentimiento de confidencia entre nosotros y terminamos pasando un buen momento como si el tiempo no fuese pasado entre reunión y reunión.
Pero no todo es hablar, por lo que decidimos ir a un local donde venden batidos de muchos sabores, este sitio también lo conocí gracias a una gran amiga y se ha vuelto uno de mis lugares favoritos para visitar, además que, al tener tantos buenos sabores de batidos es un buen sitio para pasar el tiempo, sentarse, distraerse y seguir la conversación sin problema alguno. Yo pedí un batido de manzana y Ashley de fresa. Estuvimos bastante rato allí, hasta que ya se estaba siendo hora de irnos. Yo todavía tenía que hacer algunas diligencias y Ashley tan amable me acompañó. Terminé comprando algunas cosas, entre esas, alimento para gatos, nunca puede faltar.
I ended up walking Ashley home, since it's relatively close to downtown and didn't take me that long. Once I dropped her off, I headed to catch a ride home. Finally, I want to tell you that it's always good to take time to be with those you love, whether it's family, your partner, or friends. Try to take time to spend with them whenever you can. It ends up being quite reassuring and, at the same time, it's an instant boost of happiness. Besides, life should be lived in the moment, so let's take advantage of and appreciate these good times we have. As proof of this, I am sharing a photo of the sunset/dusk that I took on my way home. These moments must be cherished.
Yo terminé acompañando a Ashley hasta su casa, ya que es relativamente cercana en el centro y no me ocupa tanto tiempo. Una vez que la dejé, me dirigí a tomar un carro para llegar a mi casa. Por último, quiero decirles que, siempre es bueno tomarse un tiempo para estar con los que quieres, ya sea familia, pareja o amigos, intenten tomar un tiempo para dedicarles siempre que puedan, termina siendo bastante tranquilizador y al mismo tiempo es una carga de felicidad instantánea, además, la vida se debe vivir en el proceso, por lo que aprovechemos y valoremos estos buenos momentos que tenemos y como muestra de esto, les comparto una fotografía del atardecer/anochecer que hice regresando a mi casa, estos momentos hay que valorarlos.
