I remember starting 3 years ago here at Hive, I remember all the people I met who supported me in the things I shared about my personal and faculty projects, even though I have never met you in person I have come to genuinely care about you and care about your goals and today it is my turn to share this with you.

It was a long 6 years where I have sacrificed a lot, time with my parents, quality time with friends, outings, time for me, but it has all been worth it. I started this career almost by chance because at the time when I was in high school I had signed up for a talk on architecture, because initially I thought I would be an architect, but the person who was going to give that talk was sick and an industrial designer came to tell me about what he had studied and I really fell in love with it.
Fueron unos 6 largos años en donde he sacrificado mucho, tiempo con mis padres, tiempo calidad con amigos, salidas, tiempo para mí, pero todo ha valido la pena. Inicie esta carrera casi de casualidad ya que en su momento cuando estaba en la secundaria me había anotado en una charla de arquitectura, porque inicialmente pensaba ser arquitecto, pero la persona que iba a dar esa charla estuvo enferma y vino un Diseñador industrial a contar sobre lo que él había estudiado y realmente me enamore.

What is industrial design? In a big question and a very big answer because literally any object that surrounds you has had at least one designer behind it who has thought about how you are going to use it, how long it is going to last, how it is created in a factory, with what materials, with what colors and in short industrial design is finding solutions to problems. If the problem of a person is to nail an element in a wall, the industrial designer in one of its many possibilities will design a hammer with a handle so that the person can grasp it comfortably and a head strong enough to nail that element.

I have enjoyed the journey enormously, clearly I have stressed a lot, I have cried, I have laughed a lot with friends, I have made very good friends, I have worked with groups of people I did not know and I really loved them. And despite all this, there were stretches where I felt that the career was quite lonely, there were a couple of years where I had to do subjects without close friends because it is not always possible to coordinate times and chairs, but despite that I continued and I got to this point.

My celebration I must say that it was stressful in part, coordinating with the people who were coming to spend time with me, making sure no one got lost, gathering them, trying to make them comfortable while I waited for the return of my last note to see if they would receive me. Pero una vez me dijeron que si y me dieron la nota todo fue felicidad, cambié mi ropa y fui a festejar.
Personally I was doing this for tradition, I had never understood what the fun of getting so dirty when receiving was, but when I was there, they were throwing foam at me and people were enjoying with me, I understood it, it is the moment that matters, it is those people competing with you that instant and I felt enormously happy to understand it and to share it with the people who love me so much and surround me.

Felicidades por ese reto terminado, pues hay muchos que se van quedando en el camino durante la carrera. Yo tampoco entendía mucho de esa celebración alocada, por suerte, ya que luego de mi presentación final tuve que irme a trabajar, así que no hubo espuma, bochinche ni nada, pero es lindo igual celebrar a lo alto la culminación de todo ese tramo universitario.
Ey, eso es verdad es muy triste ir perdiendo amigos y compañeros en el trayecto. Algunos se iban del país, otros abandonaban o les surgían cosas en la vida con las cuales no podían continuar con la carrer, intentaba ayudar a los que mas podia para que continuaran pero uno no puede hacer milagros y resolverle la vida a la gente
Muchos de los que alguna vez intentamos realizar una carrera universitaria, nos quedaremos con la duda, de lo que se siente cuando concluís una carrera. Felicidades, estimado autor, por tener la certeza de lo que te gustaba, consistencia para avanzar a pesar de los momentos de soledad y por supuesto, desearte el mayor de los éxitos en tu vida laboral.

He dudado algunas veces en el camino pero cuando uno se queda hasta tarde haciendo cosas, sacrifica tiempo con los demás por hacer proyectos y a pesar de eso lo disfruta, entonces uno esta exactamente donde quiere estar.
