I keep flirting with getting pro-create and not getting it because I'm not sure I will put the time into learning how to use it. Maybe canva would be a good alternative.

Canva is definitely a great altenative. It's easy to use and has so many icon libraries graphic that are so cool 😁. It's also quite affordable as well.
