Hello, another day begins and my wish is that you have a good time, that every moment is filled with great purpose. My days continue to be active, with the same pace as the first day of the week. There has been no rest, and although fatigue sometimes creeps in, motivation remains strong because there are goals to achieve and commitments to fulfill.
My priority this week is the Unik hotel and the filters that are being worked on. It is a project that requires constant attention, technical monitoring, and a lot of dedication. Since the week began, I have been focused on checking the water parameters, making sure everything is in order to guarantee the quality that our visitors deserve.
So early in the morning, my husband and I set off for the hotel. But before we arrived, we had to stop at the gas station to fill up. We thought it would be a quick process, as usual, but just as we were in the middle of filling up, there was a power outage. The pump stopped and we were forced to wait for about half an hour. It was a moment of patience, of looking at the clock and taking deep breaths. There was nothing we could do. Fortunately, we weren't alone; other people were also waiting, and between brief conversations, the time passed.
Hola, otro día comienza y mi deseo es que la pasen bien, que cada momento esté lleno de grandes propósitos. Mis días continúan activos, con el mismo ritmo con el que comenzó el primer día de la semana. No ha habido descanso, y aunque el cansancio a veces se asoma, la motivación sigue firme porque hay metas que cumplir y compromisos que cumplir.
Mi prioridad esta semana es el hotel Unik y los filtros en los que se está trabajando. Es un proyecto que requiere atención constante, seguimiento técnico y mucha dedicación. Desde que comenzó la semana, he estado enfocada en verificar los parámetros del agua, asegurándome de que todo esté en orden para garantizar la calidad que nuestros visitantes merecen.
Así que desde temprano salimos mi esposo y yo camino al hotel. Pero antes de llegar, tuvimos que pasar por la estación de gasolina para colocar combustible. Pensamos que sería un proceso rápido, como de costumbre, pero justo cuando estábamos en medio de la carga, hubo un corte de luz. La bomba se detuvo y nos vimos obligados a esperar alrededor de media hora. Fue un momento de paciencia, de mirar el reloj y respirar hondo, nada podíamos hacer. Afortunadamente, no estábamos solos; otras personas también esperaban, y entre conversaciones breves, el tiempo pasó.
As soon as the power came back on, we finished filling up with fuel and continued on our way to the hotel. The scenery along the way was so beautiful that, honestly, we forgot about the wait a few minutes earlier. The green of the trees and the blue of the sky offered us beautiful, radiant views. It was as if nature was compensating us for the delay.
The weather couldn't have been better. There were few clouds in the sky, which meant that the heat of the day was going to be quite stifling, but also very beautiful, something that fills you with energy. For that reason, I couldn't resist and took some pictures to show you. I love sharing these moments because I believe that the beauty of the island deserves to be seen and appreciated by everyone.
Tan pronto como volvió la electricidad, terminamos de colocar el combustible y continuamos nuestro camino al hotel. Los paisajes del trayecto eran tan hermosos que, sinceramente, olvidamos la espera de minutos antes. El verde de los árboles, el azul del cielo, nos ofrecieron una vistas hermosas y radiantes. Fue como si la naturaleza nos compensará por el retraso.
El clima no podía estar mejor. En el cielo había pocas nubes, lo que indicaba que el calor del día iba a ser bastante sofocante, pero también muy hermoso, es algo que te llena de energía. Por esa razón, no pude resistirme y capturé algunas imágenes para poder mostrarles. Me encanta compartir estos momentos, porque creo que la belleza de la Isla merece ser vista y apreciada por todos.
When we arrived at the hotel, my husband and I went straight to check the water. I checked the parameters and noticed that they were within normal limits, which gave me some satisfaction. I can't say that I felt completely satisfied, because there is still work to be done on one of the filters, but knowing that the rest is working well gave me peace of mind.
Al llegar al hotel, mi esposo y yo nos dirigimos directamente a revisar las aguas. Comprobé los parámetros y noté que estaban dentro de lo normal, lo cual me dio cierta satisfacción. No puedo decir que me sentí completamente satisfecha, porque aún falta terminar un trabajo en uno de los filtros, pero saber que el resto está funcionando bien me dio tranquilidad.
Since everything I had to do for the day was done, we decided to make the most of our time and head to the Rattan market in Maneiro. This market is the first and largest on the island, well known for its variety of products and affordable prices. What I love most about this place, without a doubt, is its cheese. It has a unique, fresh, and authentic flavor, so I bought some without thinking twice.
Como ya todo lo que tenía que hacer estaba hecho por ese día, decidimos aprovechar el tiempo y dirigirnos al mercado Rattan, que se encuentra en Maneiro. Este mercado es el primero y el más grande de la Isla, muy conocido por su variedad de productos y sus precios accesibles. Lo que más amo de este lugar, sin duda, es su queso. Tiene un sabor único, fresco y auténtico, así que lo compré sin pensarlo dos veces.
After doing our shopping, we returned home to prepare for the next day. The work continues, and each day brings new challenges, but also new opportunities to learn and grow.
