I wish you all a wonderful and productive start to the week.
Mine will begin very busy, as usual, with my work routines that I enjoy so much. I like to start Mondays with good energy, focused and with a clear mind, because I feel that sets the tone for the rest of the week. There's nothing like starting with enthusiasm and a smile, don't you think it's better that way?
This weekend was especially comforting. I'll tell you that this Sunday I was able to rest, disconnect a little from the daily hustle and bustle, and, most importantly, share quality time with my family. Those moments are what really recharge the soul. We were at home in the morning, doing some chores in a relaxed way, without rushing, enjoying the home environment. I love it when we can do things calmly, without the pressure of the clock, just flowing.
After lunch, we decided to go for a walk. We planned to go to the mall to walk around for a while and enjoy the Christmas decorations. You know I love this time of year, and one of my little pleasures is visiting the different malls in the city to see how they have decorated. I like to observe every detail, every light, every decoration, and then share the magic of each place with you through my posts. It's a way of bringing you a little bit of that Christmas cheer that inspires me so much.
So we set off for the Parque Costa Azul shopping mall. The weather was quite cool, ideal for walking, as there are still a few isolated showers in the evenings that cool the air.

El mío comenzará muy movido, como de costumbre, con mis rutinas de trabajo que tanto disfruto. Me gusta iniciar los lunes con buena energía, enfocada y con la mente clara, porque siento que eso marca la pauta para el resto de los días. Nada como arrancar con entusiasmo y una sonrisa, ¿no creen que es mejor así?
Este fin de semana fue especialmente reconfortante. Les contaré que este domingo pude descansar, desconectarme un poco del ajetreo diario y, lo más importante, compartir tiempo de calidad con mi familia. Esos momentos son los que realmente recargan el alma. Estuvimos en casa durante la mañana, haciendo algunos deberes de forma relajada, sin prisas, disfrutando del ambiente hogareño. Me encanta cuando podemos hacer las cosas con calma, sin la presión del reloj, simplemente fluyendo.
Después de almorzar, decidimos salir a dar un paseo. Planeamos ir al centro comercial para caminar un rato y disfrutar de los adornos navideños. Ya saben que me encanta esta época del año, y uno de mis pequeños placeres es recorrer los distintos centros comerciales de la ciudad para ver cómo han decorado. Me gusta observar cada detalle, cada luz, cada adorno, y luego compartir con ustedes la magia de cada lugar a través de mis publicaciones. Es una forma de llevarles un poquito de esa alegría navideña que tanto me inspira.
Así que salimos rumbo al centro comercial Parque Costa Azul. El clima estaba bastante fresco, ideal para caminar, ya que en las noches aún se sienten algunas lluvias aisladas que refrescan el ambiente.
When we arrived, we were greeted by the air-conditioned air inside, which contrasted with the humidity outside. We walked calmly, enjoying the lights, the Christmas music playing in the background, and the smiles of the children running excitedly from one place to another.
Al llegar, nos recibió el aire climatizado del lugar, que contrastaba con la humedad del exterior. Caminamos con tranquilidad, disfrutando de las luces, de la música navideña que sonaba de fondo y de la sonrisa de los niños que corrían emocionados de un lado a otro.
On our walk, we came to a spot that took my breath away: a little candy house. How beautiful! It really caught my attention. It was like stepping into a fairy tale, a place that seemed to come straight out of a child's dreams—and why not, also out of the dreams of adults who still retain that childlike spirit.
En nuestro recorrido, llegamos a un rincón que me robó el aliento; una casita de caramelos. ¡Qué belleza! Me llamó muchísimo la atención. Era como entrar en un cuento de hadas, un lugar que parecía sacado de los sueños de cualquier niño —y por qué no, también de los adultos que aún conservamos ese espíritu infantil.
The little house was decorated with all kinds of treats: from classic gingerbread men to huge, colorful candies hanging like ornaments. Everything was so well done that for a moment I felt like I was in a Christmas movie.
La casita estaba decorada con todo tipo de golosinas: desde el clásico hombrecito de jengibre hasta enormes y coloridas chambelonas que colgaban como si fueran adornos. Todo estaba tan bien logrado que por un momento sentí que estaba dentro de una película navideña.
After enjoying that magical spot, we decided to head home. The outing had been just what we needed: a dose of joy, color, and family togetherness. Once home, with my heart full, I decided to devote myself to one of my passions: painting. It had been a long time since I had sat down to paint calmly, and this Sunday was the perfect moment. I started a painting that I want to hang in the hallway of my house. I didn't finish it because I want to do it little by little, enjoying every stroke, every mixture of colors. But I've taken the first step, and that fills me with excitement. When I finish it, I will of course show it to you.
Después de disfrutar de ese mágico rincón, decidimos regresar a casa. El paseo había sido justo lo que necesitábamos: una dosis de alegría, color y unión familiar. Ya en casa, y con el corazón contento, decidí dedicarme a una de mis pasiones; la pintura. Hacía tiempo que no me sentaba a pintar con calma, y este domingo fue el momento perfecto. Comencé un cuadro que quiero colocar en el pasillo de casa. No lo terminé, porque quiero hacerlo poco a poco, disfrutando cada trazo, cada mezcla de colores. Pero ya di el primer paso, y eso me llena de ilusión. Cuando lo termine, por supuesto que se los mostraré.
That's how my day ended: with peace of mind, a full heart, and renewed energy to start a new week with new vigor, new challenges, and a great desire to continue sharing bits and pieces of my life with you.
