Mis trabajos diarios de la facultad se acumulan a pasos agigantados amigos míos jajajaja estoy llena de tareas pero una de las cosas más complicadas es trabajar con imágenes de museo, resulta que una de mis materias tiene conexión con una fundación que hace muestras de museos y este año la temática es del imperio Inca, realmente aprendí muchas cosas de este imperio y hay cosas increíbles y hermosas, y nuestro trabajo es crear un universo inspirado en este imperio con las imágenes y crear en un futuro una prenda con el estampado.
My daily work at the university is accumulating by leaps and bounds, my friends hahaha, I am full of tasks but one of the most complicated things is working with museum images, it turns out that one of my subjects has a connection with a foundation that makes museum exhibitions and this year the theme is the Inca empire, I really learned many things about this empire and there are incredible and beautiful things, and our job is to create a universe inspired by this empire with the images and create a garment with the print in the future.
Nuestra tarea y digo nuestra porque tengo a mi dúo trabajando a la par es sobre el INTI RAYMI, una adoración al sol, donde se usaban túnicas ceremoniales y diferentes objetos para agradecer al sol y a la tierra las cosechas.
Nuestro universo cuenta con imágenes de lugares de Perú, vestimenta tradicional archivo de museo y algunos objetos y texturas que nos fueron resultando interesantes en todo este proceso de investigación, estamos casi a la mitad del trabajo y todo se viene acomodando muy bien.
Our task, and I say ours because I have my duo working at the same time, is about INTI RAYMI, a worship of the sun, where ceremonial robes and different objects were used to thank the sun and the earth for the crops. Our universe has images of places in Peru, traditional clothing from the museum archive and some objects and textures that we found interesting throughout this research process. We are almost halfway through the work and everything is coming together very well.
La semana que pasó hicimos proyección en el cuerpo del trabajo, y también vimos el de nuestros compañeros, es muy interesante ver como cada persona de una misma idea tomo caminos diferentes con su impronta y temática ya pensada desde hace tiempo.
También tenemos un registro de bitácora yo aún estoy trabajando en la mis con imágenes, dibujos, y cosas que se me van ocurriendo en todo este proceso proyectual, si bien estas materias me cuestan cuando el trabajo está realizado se ve muy bien.
Last week we screened the body of work, and we also saw that of our colleagues, it is very interesting to see how each person with the same idea took different paths with their imprint and theme already thought out for a long time. We also have a log record, I am still working on it with images, drawings, and things that occur to me throughout this project process, although these matters are difficult for me when the work is done it looks very good.
Debemos llegar al desfile con toda la energía puesta, el día más importante se viene en un mes y medio y aún queda mucho por hacer, pero esos nervios pre-desfile, vestir al modelo, maquillaje y peinado me parecen una adrenalina fascinante, es una sensación que descubrí y quiero seguir sintiendo.
We must arrive at the show with all our energy, the most important day is coming in a month and a half and there is still a lot to do, but those pre-show nerves, dressing the model, makeup and hair seem like a fascinating adrenaline to me, it is a feeling that I discovered and want to continue feeling.
