Good day Wonderful Frens! How are we all doing? What a wonderful night it was at my end here. What about you? So, a new special activity was introduced into Hive recently and many still do not know about this Activity and that's why they are not participating in this new Activity. Well, I am here to Tell you about this new activity and also take you on a Step by step guide on how to participate in the Activity.
The new Activity is Called Snaps. Just like Inleo Threads and Ecency Waves, Snaps is an Avenue for Sharing your Short Contents, and also engaging in other people's short contents through making comments on their posts or snaps. You can also add pictures to your Snaps as well. Snaps is powered by the Peakd frontend and can be assessed using the Peakd Frontend. It was Established by @snapie.
Let me take you on a Step to Step Guide on how to Engage in the community using Snaps.
Procedures on Creating your Short Contents using Snaps.
Stage 1: Click on your Keychain App. This is the way you can be able to assess the Snaps interface easier.
Stage 2: Put in your Passcode and Verify your fingerprint
Stage 3: Tap on the second icon there as shown above.
Stage 4: Tap on the Search Bar
Stage 5: Type in peakd.com and hit the search button
Stage 6: After loading, click on the button on the to right as circled in the image above.
Stage 7: Put in your Hive username
Stage 8: Click on Keychain
Stage 9: Then tap on Confirm to Login to your Hive account using Peakd from the Keychain App.
Stage 10: Tap on your Profile Picture as shown above.
Stage 11: Go to My Blog and then you will see your Huge profile right there in the Peakd frontend.
Stage 12: Then, Cluck on the three straight lines in the Top lefts side as demonstrated in the image above.
Stage 13: Click on Feeds and Snaps, you would find it exactly as it is in the image above.
Stage 14: Then, you will find all the interfaces that can be used to create and share short content all together. Hit the Snaps column as shown above.
Stage 15: The interface for snaps would be opened and then click on the circled area to create your Short Contents
Stage 16: Type in your Content. If you wish to add a picture to your short Content, follow the marker area and tap on it.
Stage 17: Then click on Upload image. But if you have the image link, you can click on the image link and paste the link.
Stage 18: The image would start uploading as shown above.
Stage 19: The link of the image you selected would be displayed.
Stage 20: Tap on the Eye symbol to preview your snap below creating it. As you can see mine above.
Stage 21: Then, click on Snap for your short content to be Created and published.
Stage 22: A Prompt would come up and then you will have to Click on the Confirm column for it to be published. Congratulations 🎉 you have published your short Content.
Now, you have Published your short Content.
But you can also engage on other creators shirt content by commenting on their posts As well and this is how you can do that:
Step 1: If you see any post you would wish to engage in, tap on the comment section that is marked on the image above.
Step 2: Tap on the typing section for typing in your comment
Step 3: Type in your Beautiful Comment
Step 4: Then Tap on the Reply Button for your Wonderful Comment to be Posted.
Step 5: Then a prompt comes up and you confirm the prompt
Step 6: Then your Reply is posted immediately.
Step 7: In the image above, The first arrow points on the following, which is where you will see the short contents of all those who you follow. Then the second arrow points at Newest, which is for the most newest Snaps. Then lastly, the last arrow points to Trending, that's for trending Snaps.
I hope that with this guide you will be able to Publish a Snap and also engage with other Hiveans in their Snaps as well.
