It has not been easy for me week's ago my dad called my mum telling her that he was not feeling well, my 3 months old little sister was to be dedicated on the 9th November which is this coming Sunday so he said that he will hold on so that they can grant him permission from work to come home then attend my sister's dedication and

get proper treatment because he was getting treatment from a chemist man where the man did not conduct any test to even know what is wrong with him. As time goes on he keeps complaining that the body is getting worse, my mother had no choice but to tell him to come home, he tries to ignore her then she called my uncle which was his elder brother so he called him and told him to come home so he immediately came home the following day so we can proceed for the checkup. We commence the process immediately, we went to the hospital with him because my mom can't go out with my little sis since she isn't up to three months. We were at the hospital where

he was admitted and was taking treatment. The medical laboratory professional ran a complete medical check up on him. Before the results came out he was feeling ok chatting with people and others, then as the result was out which shows that he's having hepatitis, he said he wants to go home insisted on that so we got discharged and was given drugs we came home and he complained of heat so he went out side and sat under the mango tree beside our house and was chatting and laughing with people around so that night he kept complaining that he was not feeling normal we couldn't sleep me and my mom comforting him so he was able to sleep. Around 8am in the morning I woke him up and gave him medication my self, he waited a little bit then he laid on the bed then he stand up immediately and started coughing and I rushed to bring bucket maybe incase he wants to vomit. He fainted and my mom rushed out and called for help, so many people came round and helped he woke up and then keeps coughing non-stop, he started coughing out blood and went unconscious, immediately my uncle came with his car and took him to the hospital, my mom and myself followed up together with. My dad was rushed in to oxygen, not to long he opened his eyes and was trying to speak, at first felt relief so he was rushed in to the ward. my aunt ask that why isn't the last test out so the pleaded and that the machine for the test is not available at the hospital or any where in Akwanga they'll have to refer us to FMC, keffi. They said that in an hour the result will be out so the result came out showing that he has a liver disease and the doctor called my mum my aunt and told them that his life was at stake which means 50 50. They kept treating him and we spent almost a week there, my mum couldn't stay there because of her little baby so I had to be there at all time and the body kept getting worst. We were later referred to a private hospital In jos because the government hospital was about going for strike due to poor treatment from the government. The next day in the morning, we were in the car going to JUTH a teaching hospital and right there in the car, my Dad took his last breath 🫁 and gave up the ghost.
