Everybody has something to give: The Journey of Generosity (JOG)

in Hive Reachoutlast month

Good day everyone in this community.Happy New week.I am here to share with US how me and my outreach team spent our last weekend on Generosity. Everybody has something to give.
What you give multiplies But what you withhold shrinks.
I am excited to share the remarkable experience and impact of our recently concluded outreach and Journey of Generosity (JOG) training held at Better

Leven Academy, Akwanga,
Nasarawa State. The event was a beautiful blend of learning, sharing, and giving, and it left lasting smiles on the faces of both participants and the community at large.

The outreach and JOG training brought together a diverse group of participants who were eager to understand and embrace the principle of generosity. Throughout the sessions, we witnessed a deep transformation in the hearts of the attendees as they encountered the message of selfless giving.

The outreach and training ignited a renewed passion among participants to live generously and influence others to do the same.

One of the most touching aspects of this outreach was our interaction with pupils and orphans from the neighborhood. Over 80 children, along with their teachers, were present. Each child received exercise books, pencils, and biros.

It was truly heartwarming to see their joy and excitement as they received these materials. For many of them, it was more than just pencil books and biro. To them it was a sign that they are seen, valued, and loved.

The headteacher of Leven Academy Mr Peter Agabi

was visibly moved by our act of generosity. He expressed deep gratitude for the donations and the message of giving shared during the training. He pledged to become an advocate of generosity by mobilizing all his teachers, friends in other churches, and people under his leadership, even those in outlying areas, to cultivate a lifestyle of giving. He also promised to maintain collaboration with us in future efforts to spread the message of generosity.

In addition, we were greatly encouraged by Mr. Agbu Godfrey, one of the attendees, who shared his personal passion for supporting Less privileged pupils He revealed that he already has a burning desire to help children who cannot afford school fees. Inspired by the training God use me to do, he committed to sponsoring three children living in his compound at Abugame wamba bypass, Akwanga, local government area of Nasarawa state and pledged to continue supporting others. Furthermore, he plans to rally more people to join him in this mission of impacting lives through generous acts.

myself(@ekojah), and the entire team are filled with joy for being chosen by God to be catalysts or part of this life-changing initiative. The happiness we saw in the eyes of the children, the teachers, and the participants affirmed the importance of our mission. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to serve, to give, and to teach others about the power of generosity.

God indeed melted hearts during this training and outreach. We saw a sincere commitment from people who are now ready to go out and practice what they have learned. This Journey of Generosity was more than a training; it was a movement that has power to change lives in Akwanga and the whole world.
