Can you eat your cake and still have it back? Well that's a question to be answered as we proceed. so just an analysis yeah, looking at times when you were watching a movie and then the light goes off which definitely makes the device you are using to go off, when the light comes back would you want to restart the movie or just continue from where you stop? I was just checking what you would press on if you were the one watching, so for this week I want to start off by writing on my restart button.
Mistakes have certainly been made in this journey of ours, those mistakes that changed or shaped our journey and I know for sure that this restart button would give me the opportunity to correct those mistakes done in the past, those opportunities can also extend to me pursuing those dreams I want earlier and also walk with my passion because it's already identified, and also opportunities where I grow personally, all these and more given in a platter of gold when I choose to restart life all over again, I mean it's so tempting for one to resist but looking at the brighter side.
Looking at the brighter side is the fact where I would say I like my life enough to want to keep it, I have been through alot, I learnt and unlearn plenty things, I have loved and unloved so I have accepted it to be part of life, no doubt I have many things I want to correct infact I might want to prove a point by going back to start all over but come to think of it what is in it for me, won't I still face new challenges like new me new problems, what if in the process of correcting those mistakes I still end up making another one, I mean restarting again doesn't ensure you being perfect and free of any problems it just makes you wiser and I think I am okay where I am.
So with these very few points of mine I hope I have painted my own picture of what a restart means and why I would prefer not to press the restart button rather I would press the pause and think about life.
