In this digital world, we have advanced technologies, and because of advanced technologies, the communication system has become much easier compared to the past times. Now we have smartphones and computers with Internet connections, and using the devices, we can communicate with anyone in the world; it does not matter how far they are from us. Now we don't need to wait for a letter or a message from someone for many days because it can be done instantly within seconds. It's like because of advanced technology, the distance between places does not affect us or our communication system, and it is a very good thing.
Everything has its own advantages and disadvantages, and that's the universal truth, and nobody can deny it. In the case of advanced technologies, it is also applicable. Because of a good communication system, communication has become easier for sure, but it has some negative sides also. Many of us are so busy messaging and online voice or video calling that we talk to others in the offline world face-to-face, very little. It's mostly like we are ready to talk with someone for several hours via messaging and phone calls, but we are not ready to spend even five minutes talking with someone face-to-face in the real world. Do you think it's a good thing? I don't think so.
I am not trying to isolate someone from spending time with online friends, but everything must be in limits; otherwise, it can bring destruction. Online friends can be good, and you also have several online friends. You are very good to me. I am thankful for advanced technologies for making it possible, but there is a limitation to that kind of friend. I know that if I say "danger" in real life, online friends may not be able to help me even if they want to because they are not physically present with me. At maximum, they can give mental support, but an offline friend can come forward to give a helping hand to rescue me. At the same time, he can give me mental support. The support a friend can provide with his physical existence cannot be compared to the virtual support, even if it is helpful.
From my perspective, a virtual friend is important, but that does not mean one should ignore the friend offline. To maintain the friendship, conversations and communication between friends play a very important role, which cannot be underestimated. Even if we talk with anyone online who is also a friend offline, there is a difference. I think expressing everything through messaging is not so easy, but talking face-to-face can be helpful in understanding many things that cannot be understood while one is on top of another via messages.
One of the major disadvantages of using technological devices for a long time is the side effects as well as the health effects. If one is concerned about health, he must avoid using technological devices continuously for a long time, but in face-to-face conversation, there is no side effect of it, and I believe that conversation in the offline world is more entertaining compared to the online world. This is how I feel, which can be different for others because everyone has their own opinion about it.

I totally understand your view … i remember I and one of my close friend having issues because we communicated through our social media but when we got to see face to face we understand each other more

Technology is good and have made things easier for us, especially in the aspect of communication without having to travel miles to talk to somebody but at the same time, it has its disadvantages because most times, physical communication might be necessary and important than talking via digital.
We all know the importance of physical communication, but we are so addicted to using smartphones that we are not ready to leave those technological devices. Again, if you are concerned about it, the other person is not interested, as you need another person for face-to-face communication.
