Greetings! everyone. It's the Hive_reachout week 43 prompt.
I would love to give a brief introduction to what humanitarian services are all about.
The word Humanitarian services refers to those services or assistance we give to people without being paid to do so. It's done out of love and passion.
I've been involved in this very act severally, and I can attest to it that it pays. Anyone who has never done Humanitarian services misses a lot.
I guessed they needed someone who understood what it meant to tell them how interesting it is to force another to do Humanitarian services, but it's you who will do it by yourself.
I will be sharing three Humanitarian services I did to both God and people and the benefits I got from doing that.
When I was twelve, I loved going to our church every Saturday morning to weed, clear the grass, sweep the floor, and also mop it.
I was always excited each time I realized it was Saturday. I never stopped doing that. When I was doing all those things, I didn't know what it meant to God. I only did it because other children were also doing the same thing.
I didn't know that a day would come when my services to God would speak for me.
I slept one fateful night without having any issues with my chest, so when I woke up the following morning, I realized I couldn't get up by myself.
My brothers had to carry me up, and they used a pillow to help me lean on the wall. I had a severe chest pain.
It was so painful that it lasted for some days. I was at the edge of death but God saved me. My parents and Aunty gave me everything they knew, but it wasn't helping me at all.
But surprisingly I prayed to God, reminding him of who I was, and before I knew it, the chest pains vanished away. Till today, I've not experienced it.
Indeed, my services paved the way for my victory.
The second Humanitarian service I want to talk about is giving. I didn't know that giving can be a Humanitarian service until I was involved in it.
When I was at the hundred level in college, a friend of mine called me at night. He told me to help him with money.
I told him I had only one thousand naira in my account. I promised to give him five hundred naira and take five hundred naira, too, since I had something to do with it.
I transferred the money to him wholeheartedly, but a few hours later, I got an alert on my phone. Someone sent five thousand naira into my account.
I got double what I gave to my friend. So, Humanitarian services are good.
