As funny as it sounds, I won't advice any to ask a student such question " how much do you need" because we student we tend to need more than infinity if it's possible of getting, but anyways let me be personal today, as for me I need funds I mean enough funds, that some of this thing's needed I couldn't mention them to my parents, because it will be like am extorting money from them, which on a normal if amin there shoes I will think the same. First I need money to pay off for my INDEXING, I will explain briefly the meaning of INDEXING, indexing is a process whereby a medical laboratory science student have to pass through before he or she becomes a legalized medical laboratory scientist whereby he or she can work on a patient legally, and this process involves series or exam's and defends, and it's not carried out by the institute lectures or conducted by the school, this is usually handled be med lab association council nation wide, and as a student passing the council exam's is very crucial as aligning with your future carrier as a medical laboratory scientist, so we usually register for be the indexing exercise will start, at first they asked us to pay #70000 naira, which my dad tried his best in offering me the money with advice as usual, but funny enough on returning to school only to found out that extra #45,000 Naira was already added to it, I was very weak and almost went mental be I know getting it won't be any easier, but each time I remember that there's life, definitely there's still hope.
Another budget that needs funds, is my room, my is so scattered and needs urgent rearrangement and some changes like the lighting, wall paint, and Even my sleep materials.
For now I will say these are the pressing issues that really need urgent money, so if someone is to ask me how much I need, with sincerity of heart I will say a hundred thousand naira, (#100000) but remember it's just my need, and not including my want, because I also have many wants like, changing my clothes to some better ones and even getting food stuff's and many more.
