Hi Hive family, I'm Nwankwo Oluchi Christian, but most people just call me Oluchii. I am from Anambra State, the place that is rich in culture, traditions, and stories, and I find it very inspiring every day. I think the first few years of my life in that place have a very strong influence on my character. My life was never easy from the beginning, but each incident was a teaching that strengthened my inner strength and nurtured my spiritual life.
I was educated at Government secondary school Afaha Eket. The time was really a mixture of work, and personal development, and changing my perspective. It was also the first time I really expressed my creative side through art and generally enjoyed creating things.
I really love to sing and write these are the two things that I really value a lot. When I feel that words are just not enough, singing has always been my main way of communication. It is indeed the medium through which I express my happiness, sadness, and thankfulness. Opposite to singing, writing gives me more opportunities to express my thoughts. I used to do it through journaling and little reflections, and it has slowly become something that I really like. Both singing and writing make me feel peaceful, and I also feel that they can have an impact on other people's lives as well.
I always try to live as if I will never give up. Life is sometimes a challenge, and these challenges can be so large that one can get the feeling of suffocating. However, I still hold on to the belief that the spirit and the routine will never fail to bring me on. I am not the best, but still, I try to do it wholeheartedly.
Michael Udochukwu, my friend, was the first person to tell me about Hive. He shared with me about a community where people could share their experiences and skills while meeting those from different parts of the world. The way he did it was so great that it made me want to find out more about Hive immediately.
Just the concept of a place that acknowledges creativity and hard work was something that I would have loved to be a part of. Thank you so much that I am here and I can’t wait to start this trip.
One of the things that I am most excited about and also which I find very interesting about Hive is the opportunity to share what I love and, at the same time, get to know and learn from countless others. I am willing and eager to write and publish works of fiction, reflections, and other creative endeavors that will people be able to relate to.
I'd like to make a joyful and creative expression of my own through singing, hopefully sharing the happiness that good music has brought to me with others. I also look forward to meeting new people, facilitating their success by offering my support, and learning from their experiences.
Of course, I am also very proud to say that I am from Anambra State and I think that I have a lot to share from my culture which is absolutely magnificent. I would love to tell stories about my culture and native land as well as learn about the cultures of the people around me.
Hive is a worldwide community, and I think that the differences between us are the things that really make it stronger. Besides, I see this as an opportunity to really develop myself. There's so much to know here, and I want to learn from others as well as give back to the community wherever I can.
Hive is not just a platform. It is a place where people can listen to what you say and your creative skills can be noticed. The idea that my words and songs can get to people whom I don't even know makes me really excited to be here. I want to thrive, connect, and create relationships that are deeper than just sharing content. I really feel blessed to be here. I thank Michael for bringing me to Hive and letting me know what this community is all about. This is like the start of something new, and I am eager to experience my journey and also be inspired by yours.
