That stair mismeasurement made me remember a hilarious mistake made by the engineer who made our house in the countryside about 7 years ago. Take a look at the photo below, behind that brown wooden door (main door), is another door of another room (room of my oldest sibling's room). Why hilarious? Traditionally, in my hometown (named Tandoc), all main doors of houses are open throughout the day and only closes at night or when everyone leaves the house. If we keep the main door open the door behind it will be blocked, haha. So, instead of keeping our main door open in the daytime, we have to always close it and open it again whenever my eldest sibling comes in and out of his room. Ahaha!
