glad to post again in this wonderful community. In today's post, I want to continue the journey to the incredible, one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to - Amsterdam.

рада знову писати в цю чудову спільноту. У сьогоднішньому пості я хочу продовжити подорож неймовірним, одним із найгарніших міст, у яких я коли-небуть була - Амстердамом.
We will talk about the architecture of the two most famous museums of the country - the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum. These two, I am not afraid of this word, legendary museums are found next to each other, on the same square, which is called Museum Square. There are two other institutions of the same profile nearby, but, unfortunately, I did not have time to visit them.
Мова піде про архітектуру двох найзнаменитіших музеїв країни - Музея Ван Гога та Рейксмузей. Ці два, не побоюся цього слова, легендраних музеї знаходять поряд, на одній площі, яка так і називається - Музейна. Поруч тут ще дві інші інтитуції цього ж профілю, але, на жаль, я не встигла їх відвідати.
I don't remember if I've ever told, but I'm studying to be a cultural scientist (culture studies) so cultural institutions always arouse my interest and call for research.
Не пам'ятаю чи колись розповідала, але я навчаюся на культуролога, а тому культурні інституції завжди викликають у мене цікавість та поклик до досліджень.
Who does not know Vincent Van Gogh? Of course, everyone has seen his paintings at least once. But in this post I will not show the painting itself, because it will not be for the profile of the community, but the building where the artist's masterpieces are stored is also worth our attention.
Хто не знає Вінсента Ван Гога? Звісно, що всі хоча б раз бачили його картини. Але у цьому пості сам живопис я показувати не буду, адже це буде не по профілю спільноти, а от будівля, де зберігають шедеври митця, також варта нашої уваги.
This museum cannot fail to attract attention! First, it contrasts very well against the background of the historic red-brown brick buildings. And the shape itself is also not quite usual for us - round! The absence of sharp corners corresponds to the nature of Vincent's work. In general, the entire museum is an embodiment of the mood and peculiarities of painting and the character of the artist to whom it is dedicated.
Цей музей не може не привернути уваги! По-перше, він дуже контрастує на фоні історичних будівль із червоно-коричневої цегли. І сама форма теж є не зовсім звичною для нас - кругла! Відсутність гострих кутів відповідає характеру творчості Вінсента. Загалом увесь музей - це втілення настрою та особливостей живопису й характеру митця, якому його присвячено.
Speaking of the space of the museum, it can be seen from the glass part that right next to the entrance there are stairs leading down. In general, a very interesting decision, because on the minus 1st floor there is a museum shop and toilets with a dressing room. And from here there is an incredible view if you look up. Glass walls and ceiling visually expand the plane and give a sense of freedom of space. And the collection of paintings itself begins, in fact, on the first floor, so you have to climb the steps again. So you will not only enjoy art, but also do sports😃
Unfortunately, I didn't take many photos inside, because my phone started to discharge, and I still wanted to take pictures of the pictures themselves.
Говорячи про простір музею, то по стекляній частині видно, що одразу біля входу розташовані сходи, що ведуть на низ. Загалом, дуже цікаве рішення, адже на мінус 1 поверху знаходиться крамничка музею та вбиральні з гардеробною. І з відси відкривається неймовірний вид, якщо дивитися нагору. Стекляні стіни та стеля візуально розиширюють площину та дають відчуття свободи простору. А сама колекція картин починається, по-суті, на першому поверсі, то ж треба знову підніматися по ступеньках. То ж ви не тільки мистецтвом насолодитесь, а й спортом позаймаєтесь😃
На жаль, всередині я мало робила фото, адже мій телефон почав розряджатися, а я ще хотіла зробити свілини самих картин.
Nearby is another beautiful glass building called the Van Gogh Museum. I tried to ask the guards what was here, but they delicately sent me to the round building, saying that it was the Van Gogh Museum. I never found out what kind of building it was. Perhaps this is the old wing of the museum. Undoubtedly, it is necessary to inquire about it.
Поруч знаходиться ще одна красива стекляна будівля, яка насить назву "Музей Ван Гога". Я намагалась запитати у охорони що тут знаходиться, але мене делікатно відправили в круглу будівлю, сказавши що то Музей Ван Гога. Я так і не дізналася, що це за споруда. Можливо, це старе крило музею. Однозначно, треба поцікавитись цим.
Let's move on to another, no less magnificent museum.
I already wrote a post about the Rijksmuseum. But then I touched only the outer part of this beautiful architectural ensemble. Today I will show the "inner part".
Перейдемо далі до іншого, не менш величного музею.
Про Рейксмузей я уже колись писала пост. Але тоді я торкнулася лише зовнішньої частини цього прекрасного архітектурного ансамбля. Сьогодні ж покажу "внутрішню частину".
When you enter the museum, you realize that although from the outside it is an example of historical Dutch architecture, inside it is combined with modern comfort. Everything is made so that people are comfortable.
Заходячи до музею, розумієш, що хоч ззовні він представляє собою зразок історичної голландської архітектури, всередині це ж поєднане з сучасним комфортом. Все зроблене так, щоб людям було зручно.
Heavy concrete slabs and neutral tiles on the floor are in perfect harmony with the openwork windows, red brick and plaques on the walls.
In my opinion, this combination is very successful, because nothing cuts the eye and does not contrast with each other.
Важкі бетонні плити та нейтральна плитка на підлозі чудово гармонує з ажурними вікнами, червоною чеглою та табличках на стінах.
Як на мене, це поєднання є дуже вдалим, адже ніщо не ріже око та не контрастує між собою.
Here is such a small excursion we had. These incredible museums impress the viewer first with their external appearance, architecture, and then with their internal component. I hope that someday I will visit them at least once.
Ось така невеличка екскурсія у нас вийшла. Ці неймовірні музеї зачіпають глядача спочатку своїм завнішнім виглядом, архітектурою, а потім внутрішньою складовою. Сподіваюся, що ще колись хоча б раз побуваю у них.

I came to know about Vincent Van Gogh in our English subject in my high school since then I am very amazed by his story. With that being said, I always wanted to visit a museum where Van Gogh is featured.
