Hello everyone,
Warm greetings to all of us members of the Architecture & Design community,

My father once said, if we go to a place, look at the toilet, if it is clean then the person who keeps the place is a clean person, good at taking care of what he has. Those words became something that I always remember when I go anywhere, moreover I don't like disgusting things.

I've been to many places, especially public spaces, maintaining the cleanliness of the toilet is often forgotten by many people, including the culture of Indonesians who like to litter, yes it's not a foreign thing for us who live in this country. Indonesian people often forget about cleanliness, especially the cleanliness of public spaces, awareness that cleanliness belongs to all of us, minimizing exposure to viruses that can make you sick and increase mortality rates.

There is an interesting thing this week, I found a place that has an attractive toilet, full of many beautiful and beautiful plants, very comfortable to linger in the toilet, very comfortable and smells like being in a cool pine forest area. At first, I just came to just drink coffee at this cafe. A lot of work that makes me have to find a cafe to write and work on some of my work deadlines.

I came and looked for a prayer room for Asr prayer, just as the Asr prayer arrived, I walked a few steps from my desk to the toilet which was directly opposite the prayer room. The thing that became my highlight in this cafe, they also provide a prayer room which in my opinion is very rarely provided in other cafes.

When I arrived at the toilet, I was very impressed to see the toilet smelling fragrant and decorated with many ornamental plants around the toilet, decorating the entire room so beautifully and aesthetic. Precisely on the sink, all the green leaves are arranged very neatly, the sink is also very clean and shiny without any dust grains. The sink is made of ordinary stone used as a drain, but there is a wooden table that holds the two sinks. The wood used is so strong with a shelf underneath for storing soap and several other items. Not only that, there is a trash can in the middle of the sink.

I also just realized after seeing the photo I took on the sink, I saw they used two mirrors that looked like water drops, then on the back of the mirror, they were given a yellow light and made the mirror look so beautiful with the lighting. Several white paper butterflies perch on the sink wall which adds to the beautiful impression of this toilet.

I thought they used artificial plants, it turns out that all of them are real plants that are well maintained so they don't look real. The leaves are not yellowed or burned, there are also some cactus plants on display right in front of the toilet door. There are 2 elongated shelves that are placed a little high so that they are difficult to reach, deliberately made so that the cactus is not disturbed and can only be seen with the eye. Maybe the plant is very loved by the café owner and well cared for, but it can still be enjoyed by café visitors. The plants are also placed in terracotta pots of different shapes, adding to the beauty of the plant rack.

There is also a chandelier made of dry pluck that adds to the aesthetic impression of this toilet, although it is not a very important function, but the lamp makes this toilet more beautiful. The toilet door is also very unique, the door is made of embossed fiber material and is shaped like woven bamboo, using white for a clean and bright impression on the toilet. The inside of the toilet also uses white ceramic, indeed the toilet should use white ceramic so that it is easy to know that it is time for the toilet to be cleaned.

For the prayer room, this is an interesting part to discuss. I like the prayer room they make, even though it's small. At the entrance, they use a curtain door made of macramé wall hanging, the aesthetic impression of using macramé makes us notice that this is a prayer room owned by a café. When you enter, even though it's a little dark, you can feel the comfortable atmosphere, helping us to focus on prayer or worship. Some of the mukenas are also very clean and fragrant to use, the floors are also very clean and cool.

Well, that's a little review of the toilet owned by Café Lekker, although this toilet is simple, the main comfort is, it makes us feel at home to be able to linger in the toilet, even to take selfies here. So, thanks for reading my post this time. Hopefully useful for all of us, Hivers!

With immense pleasure dear @aswita. Keep up the epic posts! 😀

Amazing toilet concept @aswita! See, nature can be found anywhere even in the most unexpected of places, right? I always admire bathroom designs embedded with natural elements. For instance, some of these private spaces for hygienic purposes even go to the extent of building an actual garden with real soil and plants that are in close proximity to toilet fixtures plus incorporate ceilings that are open to the sky. Fascinating, isn't it? It simply takes some creativity to construct these types of architectural combinations. 😊

Would you recommend a garden to be included in all types of toilets, bathrooms, or restrooms?

Hello @storiesoferne thank you for coming to my blog.
I like that concept, I've stayed at a resort that has a nature concept. The toilet is made with lots of plants and without a roof, but because it is surrounded by tall trees it looks really cool. Unfortunately, such a concept is a little inconvenient when it rains.

For me, this public toilet space must first be clean and cleaned regularly. I like some places that make toilets look different and special, like this post or toilets/restrooms in malls which are usually very cool and elegant.
