Yesterday, I came to an old house in the middle of the city, I often pass this house when I go to work. After so long being renovated, even I always see the progress from afar, finally the house is transformed into an aesthetic cafe that invites us to stop by just to sip a cup of coffee or try the food menu they sell.
This cafe has a strategic location, in the middle of the city which is quite close to several Medan city government headquarters. In fact this cafe is not far from one of the airports which is no longer functioning (because the airport is in the middle of the city and it is very dangerous).
Add a coffee shop, which is really very unique with its design and architecture, which I will discuss this time. Starting from an old house in the middle of the city, adding a coffee shop has many stories. Previously, this house was a small house with a very large yard, then a few years ago it was renovated and turned into a cafe, by the way I forgot the name of the cafe before it became Nambah Coffee Shop.
Due to the pandemic, the coffee shop was closed and eventually went bankrupt, even though it used to be very busy visited by many people, yes, it must be because this coffee shop has a very strategic location. After a hiatus of 2 years, this coffee shop is finally functioning again with a new name, Nambah Coffee Shop.
With the wide yard that this coffee shop has, lots of vehicles can park in the yard, so you don't need to be afraid to park your car or motorbike, maybe you can even park next to the Harley Davidson they have. Yes, in front of the entrance, there is a Harley Davidson parked there and it makes us wonder. In a way, the motorbike is very exclusive and very few people own the motorbike. Especially in my city which is a small town, so Harley Davidson is very rare. I felt like I wanted to try to ride it but my husband held me back because he would be very embarrassed to see his wife having such a tacky behavior. LOL.
So, after seeing Harley Davidson motorcycles, I saw some of the designs they used. With the concept of 'Feels Like Home', I feel comfortable when I'm here. Some of the chairs were still folded because there were very few visitors, but because they were neatly arranged, all of the chairs looked very elegant before they were used. It really feels 'new' because all the furniture they use is still very shiny without a scratch. Yes, this coffee shop was just launched 2 weeks ago but even so, it looked very busy including some customers who were in the room.
This coffee shop uses brick with terracotta paint which still smells of paint, many structures have been maintained such as walls and tiles which are still very sturdy, it's just that they repainted all the walls and windows in the same color as a classic house. There are also some doors that they replaced with more modern doors, it is very clear the comparison between the doors and windows made in the past and the current design.
There are several umbrellas that blend with the outdoor table, this is done so they can take advantage of some of the space in their very wide yard. The choice of the right umbrella and wood colors, apart from being able to take shelter, the design is still very eye-catching in the overall appearance of this coffee shop.
Entering the room, using the air conditioner which feels like the wind is blowing, it's only natural that it happens because all the doors and windows are open, they should just replace the air conditioner with a fan because that's a waste of electricity and costs.
Showing the impression of 'Feel Like Home' is very suitable in the indoor design section, using tiled floors with a mix of white and black, tables and chairs that feel like they are in the living room, then some modern paintings neatly displayed on the walls, making me feel at home for long -has been at Nambah Coffee Shop for a long time. The cleanliness of this coffee shop is what I like the most because that is the main point to make customers feel comfortable. I saw some customers who came even sat longer than me, like they were at home alone while telling stories with their two friends.
This coffee shop is one of the typical house role models in Indonesia, mixing the classic design of old houses with modern furniture. Even though it's a bit like a hit and run, the beautiful, comfortable and beautiful impression still looks very comfortable. I thought that this coffee shop would take a very long time to finish being renovated, but it turned out not to be like that, maybe because the management doesn't want to leave the trend, because the month of Ramadan is coming soon and the concept of a coffee shop like this will be liked by many people to break their fast together with friends, spouse or family, because they don't only sell coffee, but they offer a wide variety of food and beverage menus.

Greetings @aswita, a place with beautiful decorations and pleasant atmosphere that invite you to enjoy a delicious coffee, the Harley Davidson motorcycle, gives a retro style to the place, also the plants and open spaces allow you to breathe fresh air and be in contact with nature.
If someday I visit this cafe I would also like to ride the motorcycle haha.

I was most impressed with the architectural design inside this coffee shop. It can be seen that the environment has been built where customers want to freely take a cup of coffee. The orange color is more prominent. The arrangement and distribution of wooden chairs should also be appreciated.
Yes, they use orange paint which is not flashy but still stunning. Like many walls in western countries, the walls appear to be terracotta bricks.
