Once I introduced a respected community to Old Vyborg. This was last year's visit. Among other things, there was a photograph of the Round Tower. Once it was an artillery building, but now the entire building is occupied by a restaurant.
A couple of days ago we visited Vyborg again. This time we decided to go to this famous restaurant. I was more interested in the interior than in the kitchen, but you can always combine the useful with the pleasant. I shot a lot with the camera, but unfortunately I cannot show these photos now. I now live almost in the forest and I do not have a computer. I have duplicated some of the photos on the iPad and will now show you them. The rest will be later when I get home.
Однажды я знакомил уважаемое сообщество со Старым Выборгом. Это был прошлогодний визит. В числе прочего была фотография Круглой башни. Когда-то это было артиллерийское сооружение, а теперь всё здание занимает ресторан.
Пару дней назад мы вновь посетили Выборг. На этот раз решили сходить в этот знаменитый ресторан. Меня больше интересовал внутренний интерьер, чем кухня, но ведь всегда можно совместить полезное с приятным. Я много снимал камерой, но к сожалению не смогу сейчас показать эти фото. Я сейчас живу почти в лесу и у меня нет компьютера. Некоторые фото я дублировал на iPad и их сейчас вам покажу. Всё остальное будет позже, когда я вернусь домой.
A crowd of hungry tourists came to the restaurant after our visit. We were lucky, we were almost alone there and no one bothered anyone. I didn’t click the camera under someone’s nose, and the extra people didn’t get into my shot. It turned out very well
Толпа голодных туристов заходила в ресторан после нашего визита. Нам повезло, мы были там почти одни и никто никому не мешал. Я не щёлкал камерой у кого-то под носом, а лишний народ не попадал мне в кадр. Получилось очень удачно.
The walls of the Banshee are plastered inside and a number of drawings have been applied over the white paint. Some repeat engravings, others symbolize something, but all together create a good atmosphere. Mahogany furnishings and dim lighting add to the immersive ambience of the Knights' time.
You can also see the fireplace still in operation. However, what can happen to the stone.
Стены Банши отштукатурены внутри и по белой краске нанесён ряд рисунков. Одни повторяют гравюры, другие что-то символизируют, но все вместе создают хорошую атмосферу. Мебель красного дерева и приглушённое освещение дополняют атмосферу погружения во времена рыцарей.
Так же вы можете видеть действующий до сих пор камин. Впрочемю что может случится с камнем.
Looking at these windows, you can see the thickness of the walls of this tower and be convinced of its military purpose. The walls are about two meters thick. Not bad against a cannonball. Almost half of the table fits into the niche and there is also a "window sill"
Глядя на эти окна вы можете видеть толщину стен этой башни и убедиться в её военном назначении. Толщина стен около двух метров. Неплохо против пушечного ядра. В нишу помещается почти половина стола и есть ещё «подоконник».
The kitchen was good. We had a good snack before our journey through the old Vyborg. Later I will show you the entrance (most likely it is not the only one) to the underground part of the city.
Кухня оказалась хорошей. Мы неплохо перекусили перед нашим путешествием по старому Выборгу. Позже я покажу вам вход (скорее всего он не единственный) в подземную часть города.

That is some never seen before kind of interesting place. The interiors give some good vibes and style is truly amazing. That's good that other people didn't shared the frame and place was quite empty, maybe corona effected the crowd or it's usually less crowdy?
The time has not yet come for summer vacations and vacations. Plus it was a working day in the middle of the week. We also went in at a good time. As soon as we got out of there, a sightseeing bus pulled up and the tourists headed to a restaurant for lunch (1 photo). And the place is really interesting and has its own atmosphere.
That is simply unique and a must visit as you expressed your likability towards the services and infrastructure. The dim lighting inside makes the restaurant more cosy and welcoming as it sets a particular mood for the visitors.

Hello Bambuka, how are you? It's an unusually designed restaurant, so much history there. I particularly liked the mural art on the walls, they added visual interest to diners than leaving them plain. The niches at the window areas with thick walls are oddly shaped so it's understandable how challenging it is to utilize those spaces. Great to see your posts here in the community, looking forward to reading more.
Hi my Dear friend! These niches sort of divide the restaurant's space into small private areas for guests. It is very original and convenient. And these simple graphic designs create their own emotional atmosphere. The designers did a good job. I'm glad you liked my presentation of the restaurant;) I discovered another interesting place for myself and will show it soon. Have a nice weekend! ;)
