RE: A Romantic Affair with Cities

Dear friend @storiesoferne This post is definitely a gem! You show us so many places always highlighting the important and relevant architecture of each country, as well as landscapes and urbanism. It is complicated to decide which of these places is more beautiful as each one has its appeal. In New York you show us both eclectic and classic architecture together with modern architecture, the imposing Notre Dame Cathedral, Palm Jumeirah Resorts, the tallest skyscraper in the world in Dubai Burj Khalifa and many others. I was fascinated! Amazing friend. Have a great day and start of the week😊

Good afternoon dear friend @dimascastillo90. I'm sincerely glad you found my post to your liking! 👍 Indeed, as much as the 3 cities highlighted here are gorgeous, they don't compete with each other in terms of their architectural allure. Engrained in their marvelous culture, their stunning buildings are also concrete manifestations of their distinctive identities as urban icons. 😊

If you would consider your city of Buenos Aires, Argentina for instance, what fascinating appeal does it contribute to the world of architecture?

I agree that each country has its appeal in architecture. Buenos Aires, for example, although it is not my city, but I live in it... has fascinating attractions that have contributed to the world of architecture such as the famous Obelisk and the bridge of the woman, known worldwide, in addition to this after the second world war came many influences of brutalist architecture where the building of the mortgage bank and the national library stand out.

In another aspect we have skyscrapers that were the tallest in Latin America for its time as is the case of the Barolo palace and countless other palaces of bourgeois families were and are recognized attractions. Look my friend @storiesoferne I took the time to make you a collage with the works of architecture that I mentioned 😅

Wow! What a truly impressive gallery of Buenos Aires! Thank you for creating this interesting collage for our conversation here. 😀👍 This Argentinian capital is undoubtedly a world-class metropolis, filled with historical influences, cultural icons, and architectural treasures worthy of our appreciation. Would love to travel there someday and personally experience the incredibly influential contributions it has produced to the global community of architecture and design. More power my friend! 😊
