This is such a fascinating post and an interesting read. I had no idea such places still exist with oil-lit street lights. I can only imagine how it feels like to be a lamplighter these days. You're right, it must be quite an experience to see this in the modern age.

Me too, I thought during these times no place is using oil-lit street lights but I was wrong. Those places are very nostalgic, imagine walking on a road where the street lights are oil-powered, fascinating!
