Hello lovely people ...
In this video and this post, i will share about the first hotel that i booked in my trip to Bali this time. since this is the fir
st day that i arrived in here and especialky after my tour in Labuan Bajo, i only think of cheap place just to sleep and rest my body.

The name of the hotel is Amalfi Hotel Seminyak.

Hotel address :
Jalan Petitenget, Kendal No.8 Seminyak, Kerobokan Kelod, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361

This is what the outside of the hotel looks like. The hotel located right at the end of the road. It will be not hard to find this hotel if not because they put the map in the wrong place. I dont know why but i got messed up when i first arrived in here. The map in google map located right from the other side of the building which we cant go pass through because there is a big wall between them. Maybe there used to be a connecting road or something and it got closed down bug the map was still there. For going around to the other side is no joking meter. Its more than 1 km. Luckily my grab driver is very patient and kind so he can drive me to the hotel even if we need to make a turn. The front hotel design is very unique because of the plant. If i dont know before hand that its a hotel, i might not know that this is a hotel because how closed off they look.

This is what the lobby of Amalfi hotel looks like. There is so much going on in the lobby so i will describe them one by one. To be honest, i really like the design of their lobby. Is it just me but the vibe reminds me of my grandma’s old house. It feels like home for me too. As we can see, after we enter from the front door, we can go to the receptionist in the right side of the lobby. I went there and do my check in. When i arrived there, they told me that their check in time is in 3 p.m . I was surprised because for me its a pretty late time for check in time. I believe in most of the hotel, they use 2 p. m as the check in time. So the receptionist told me to wait in the lobby for few minutes till they finished preparing my room. In total, i need to wait for more than 20 minutes and less than 30 minutes.

So, lets talk about their lobby since i think this is the most interesting part about this hotel. There is a mini book shelf and they have quite books in there. Me being me as a reading junkie, can’t help but picked up one of the book to read. There is also a wall full of frame and pictures and i think it looks really nice and suit the vibe of the lobby a lot. There is also some umbrella so the guest can go outside even in the rain with borrowing their umbrellas. I think that is a small detail that really thoughtful. While waiting for the long check in time, i have heard the conversation between the receptionist and the new customer. So the new customer asked the receptionist about how much that they charge for a night in Amalfi hotel if they want to book directly and not from application like ticket.com, agoda, hotels, booking, etc . The receptionist answered that its 150.000 idr. Its way cheaper compared to the to my booking price. Actually i booked for 50.000 idr more expensive compared to the price that i need to pay in the hotel. Booking through online always giving us that problem but i cant help but do that because i dont want to have the chance that i already go to the hotel but the hotel is ready full booked or the room that i want is not available.

I got my room in the third floor so this is what the lift and the hall looks like. Luckily i got the room right in front of the lift.

This is my room key. They already use a key card like this which is my favorite compared to the manual key.

Now lets see what my room looks like :
