Hoy os quiero mostrar como ha ido procediendo la reforma del baño de mi casa.
Today I want to show you how the bathroom reform of my house has been proceeding.
Primeramente he ido teniendo en cuenta que las medidas que tengo, no son muy grandes.
First of all I have been taking into account that the measurements I have are not very big.
Otra de las cosas muy importantes a tener en cuenta es que es un baño sin ventanas, lo que limita mis ambiciosas ideas.
Another very important thing to take into account is that it is a bathroom without windows, which limits my ambitious ideas.
Dentro de las tendencias en baños que tenemos para este nuevo año, nos podemos encontrar materiales muy similares a los que hemos visto en 2023 y 2022.
Within the bathroom trends we have for this new year, we can find very similar materials to those we have seen in 2.023 and 2.022.
Colores neutros, grises y cremas.
Acabados símiles a los acabados naturales, tales como: Las imitaciones a piedras, mármoles, acabados terrosos e incluso, naturaleza viva en ellos.
Neutral colours, greys and creams.
Finishes similar to natural finishes, such as: imitation stones, marble, earthy finishes and even living nature in them.
Para los revestimientos, encontramos piezas muy pequeñas y piezas de tamaños muy grandes.
For the coverings we find very small pieces and pieces of very large sizes.
Para el suelo: En este año 2.024 la tendencia más original o más bien, menos vista hasta ahora son los acabados de los suelos iguales a los acabados de los revestimientos.
For the floor: In this year 2.024 the most original trend or rather, less seen so far are the finishes of the floors equal to the finishes of the coverings.
Ya lo habíamos visto años antes con acabados en madera que suben a uno de los paneles verticales o con acabados cementosos. Ahora lo veremos mucho con acabados marmoleados y en piedras naturales.

Por igual en los acabados más modernos como en los más clásicos.

Esto no quiere decir que los suelos de baldosas hidráulicas no sigan causando sensación como estos años anteriores.

Yo en mi caso, no soy una persona de cambios muy llamativos, me gustan mucho más los ambientes relajados y que transmiten paz. Tratándose del baño, en mi opinión creo que es una lugar de relajación y que necesita ser agradable y crear luz.
In my case, I am not a person of very striking changes, I like much more relaxed environments that transmit peace. When it comes to the bathroom, in my opinion I think it is a place of relaxation and it needs to be pleasant and create light.
Como podéis imaginar he estado viendo muchas baldosas diferentes y acabados distintos antes de decidir el color que pondré. Una reforma es una decisión para largo plazo, al menos en mi caso.😅
As you can imagine I have been looking at a lot of different tiles and finishes before deciding on the colour I will use. A renovation is a long-term decision, at least in my case 😅.
Para un baño de dimensiones pequeñas y con muy poca luz o nula, los colores que reflejan la luz, son el acierto.
Blancos: Reflejan la luz en todos los diferentes acabados, brillos, terrosos y satinados.
Azules: Refrescan el ambiente, lo hacen de este modo, recordando al subconsciente los tonos del agua y el cielo.
Verdes: Al igual que ocurre con los azules, los verdes nos recuerdan los tonos naturales y nos transmiten estas sensaciones tan agradables en cuartos húmedos de las viviendas.
Todo estos tonos, si tratamos de diseñar espacios pequeños, siempre es aconsejable en la paleta más clara del producto.
For a small bathroom with little or no light, colours that reflect light are the right choice.
Whites: Reflect light in all the different finishes, glossy, earthy and satin.
Blues: They refresh the atmosphere, reminding the subconscious of the tones of water and sky.
Greens: As with blues, greens remind us of natural tones and transmit such pleasant sensations in damp rooms in the home.
All these tones, if we try to design small spaces, it is always advisable to use the lightest palette of the product.
Ahora que ya tenemos un poco de coacción entre los tonos, tenemos que ir directamente a los acabados que vamos a emplear en nuestra obra.
Now that we have a little bit of coercion between the tones, we have to go directly to the finishes that we are going to use in our work.
En mi caso, voy buscando un acabado contemporáneo . No quiero emplear otro tipo de diseño porque el resto de la vivienda lo tengo en este estilo y no quiero que sea una baño que transmita un toque ecléctico dentro de la vivienda.
In my case, I am looking for a contemporary finish. I do not want to use another type of design because I have the rest of the house in this style and I do not want it to be a bathroom that transmits an eclectic touch inside the house.
Al ser un baño que utiliza mayormente mi hija, quiero que los acabados sean un tanto femeninos para que sea una de sus estancias de la vivienda favoritas.
No para ello quiero acabados infantiles ni nada de eso.
Así que estoy buscando acabados , texturas y colores que saquen el máximo partido a este espacio de la vivienda. Continuara ....

As the bathroom is mostly used by my daughter, I want the finishes to be somewhat feminine so that it is one of her favourite rooms in the house.
I don't want childish finishes or anything like that.So I am looking for finishes, textures and colours that make the most of this living space.To be continued ....
