Hoy os quiero mostrar algunas de las características principales en el estilo de edificación Andaluz tradicional.
El clima de Andalucía, sur de España es una clima más bien cálido, aunque en algunas zonas determinadas de la sierra y cotas más altas sea un poco más cambiante, en general los inviernos son fríos pero no severos para nada y por lo general los veranos sí son más calurosos.
Es por ello que en la arquitectura tradicional podemos ver muchas áreas para sombrear las viviendas, patios de luz con fuentes y agua para refrescar el ambiente y plantas.
Las pareces suelen pintarse de blanco para evitar la captación del calor y reflejar al máximo.
Muchas de las características son para conseguir tener una temperatura lo más templada posible en el interior de la vivienda y que ni los días más fríos ni los más calurosos afecten mucho a la temperatura del interior de la misma.
Today I would like to show you some of the main characteristics of the traditional Andalusian building style.
The climate of Andalusia, southern Spain is a rather warm climate, although in some areas of the mountains and higher altitudes it is a little more changeable, in general the winters are cold but not severe at all and generally the summers are warmer.
That is why in traditional architecture we can see many areas for shading the houses, light patios with fountains and water to refresh the atmosphere and plants.
The walls are often painted white to avoid heat gain and to reflect as much as possible.
Many of the features are to achieve the warmest possible temperature inside the house so that neither the coldest nor the hottest days affect the temperature inside the house too much.
Aquí os traigo algunas de las características anteriormente mencionadas.

También os quiero mostrar las viguetas de madera y la formación de las mismas. Esto es algo totalmente de la construcción tradicional y ahora, hoy día, se ponen en algunas viviendas como aspecto decorativo aunque no hagan la función de carga.

Las fuentes en los patios es algo que hace bien solera de la arquitectura andaluza y es que hay que comprender que eran uno de los lugares más frescos para salir por las tardes al fresco o por las noches de verano.
Cuando las mujeres lavaban a mano y el tener un pozo en el patio de la casa era un autentico privilegio.
Ventanas de maderas y arcos, rodean el patio interior de la edificación de modo que todas sus estancias se puedan ventilar de una forma directa, consiguiendo así la bajada de temperaturas en los días calurosos de verano.
También hay que decir que por supuesto los balcones son otro de los puntos primordiales en lugares como el Sur de España en los que los días de sol son más del 75% del año.
Las ventanas en madera con contraventanas de madera también. Una forma muy bien pensada de evitar el frio y conseguir el aislamiento en los días ventosos.
Ya que esta zona depende mucho de los vientos de levante y de poniente debido a su situación geográfica.
Es muy importante el aprovechamiento de la luz solar y si hoy en día loes, imaginaros cuando las velas eran la iluminación de la noche.

Las capturas que os muestro en estas imágenes son de la Casa de la Cultura de Loa Barrios, Cádiz. Una Villa en la zona más cercana al estrecho de Gibraltar.
Uno de esos pueblecitos que aún conservan muchísimas de las tradiciones Andaluzas en su forma de vida aún hoy día.
A los vecinos de esta localidad les gustan las viviendas de casas matas tradicionales con suelos de baldosas hoy día imitando al barro y ventanas de PVC imitando madera.
Es un estilo arquitectónico muy sencillo, teniendo en cuenta que sus plantas suelen ser en su mayoría de forma rectangular, con una o dos plantas de edificación. Techos de cubiertas a dos aguas de teja de barro.
En algunos casos con azoteas, soliendo ser en las viviendas que carecen de patios interiores.
The pictures I show you in these images are from the Casa de la Cultura de Loa Barrios, Cádiz. A village in the area closest to the Strait of Gibraltar.
One of those small villages that still preserves many of the Andalusian traditions in their way of life even today.
The locals like the traditional "matas" houses with today's terracotta tiled floors and PVC windows imitating wood.
It is a very simple architectural style, taking into account that its floors are mostly rectangular in shape, with one or two storeys. Gable roofs with clay tile roofs.
