I met a team (of 2-3) drone surveyors who were tasked by Cebeco to survey the southern part of Cebu with a drone.
I heard these projects with one of my college buddy who had an internship with Cebeco before. Other electrical utilities and plants are employing drones in surveying transmission lines.
The drone team got the job done and completed their mission.
It is indeed reasonable and practical to have drone surveyors rather than expensive contracts for surveying with helicopter. I drones surveying will became a staple in architecture and engineering. It done the work in less time and cost.
