En la película Alicia en el país de las maravillas, producida por Disney, Alicia se encuentra con el Sombrerero Loco, la Liebre de Marzo y el Lirón, y celebran una fiesta de no cumpleaños. En esa celebración el excéntrico Sombrerero Loco le explica a la protagonista lo que significa el día del no cumpleaños y ella logra comprender que todos los días de su vida son para festejar, estar alegres y felices. Ese capítulo motiva a estar alegres y felices en todo momento; sin embargo, y en honor a la verdad, la vida no puede ser solo fiesta, la vida es mas que "un Carnaval" tal como lo expresa la famosa canción de la finada Celia Cruz.

En la víspera del cumpleaños de mi esposa, hoy sábado, 29 de mayo de 2021, la invité a dar un paseo por el recién inaugurado Parque Simón Bolívar. Así que, en su pre cumpleaños, o como ocurrió en la película antes mencionada, en el Día de su No Cumpleaños. Confieso que pasamos un día maravilloso, como todos los días que pasamos juntos pero con el toque juvenil de los novios enamorados, alegres y felices. Ahora, con todo respeto les invito a pasear con nosotros a través de la magia de la fotografía y de antemano gracias por acompañarnos.

El Parque Simón Bolívar​ es un espacio público, recién inaugurado (2018) está ubicado en un espacio del antiguo Aeropuerto La Carlota en el este de la ciudad de Caracas, capital de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela,​ en la jurisdicción que corresponde a la Parroquia Leoncio Martínez del Municipio Sucre del Estado Miranda​. El Parque Simón Bolívar limita por el Norte con el Parque del Este o Parque Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda y la Autopista Francisco Fajardo desde donde se visualiza el imponente Cerro Ávila o Warairarepano. Al Sur con la Avenida Río de Janeiro, al Este: Antigua Base Aérea de La Carlota y Municipio Chacao y por el Oeste: Otro sector de la Base Aérea de La Carlota, Municipio Sucre y con el Municipio Chacao. Para acceder al Parque Simón Bolívar se debe cruzar por el ​puente peatonal Independencia desde el Parque Francisco de Miranda. Es importante señalar que el Puente Independencia es una especie de elevado que pasa por encima de la Autopista Francisco Fajardo y conecta los dos espacios de recreación y esparcimiento, siendo hoy una maravilla del paisajismo urbano. Posee una superficie estimada en 101 hectáreas, caminerías, áreas de recreación infantil, un lago artificial y una vista maravillosa de 360 grados que muestra la armonía de la naturaleza con la vida urbana y la construcción civil.

The Simón Bolívar Park is a public space, recently inaugurated (2018) is located in a space of the old La Carlota Airport in the east of the city of Caracas, capital of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, in the jurisdiction that corresponds to the Leoncio Martínez Parish of the Sucre Municipality of the Miranda State. The Simón Bolívar Park borders on the North with the Parque del Este or Parque Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda and the Francisco Fajardo Highway from where the imposing Cerro Ávila or Warairarepano can be seen. To the South with Río de Janeiro Avenue, to the East: Former La Carlota Air Base and Chacao Municipality and to the West: Another sector of the La Carlota Air Base, Sucre Municipality and with the Chacao Municipality. To access the Simón Bolívar Park, you must cross the Independencia pedestrian bridge from the Francisco de Miranda Park. It is important to point out that the Independencia Bridge is a kind of elevated that passes over the Francisco Fajardo Highway and connects the two spaces for recreation and leisure, being today a marvel of urban landscaping. It has an estimated surface of 101 hectares, walkways, children's recreation areas, an artificial lake and a wonderful 360-degree view that shows the harmony of nature with urban life and civil construction.

El parque consiste en áreas verdes, y un cuerpo de agua artificial conocido como «Lago Libertad», y algunos espacios para entretenimiento familiar, caminerias, jardines, una torre de escalada, viveros, un estacionamiento, algunos puestos de comida entre otros. La torre de control se adecuo para ser una Cafetería y restaurante. A pesar de su apertura al público a principios de 2018, aun existen áreas de la base aérea La Carlota que no son accesibles pues no se han terminado de ejecutar los proyectos previstos como parte del parque.

The park consists of green areas, and an artificial body of water known as "Lago Libertad", and some spaces for family entertainment, walkways, gardens, a climbing tower, nurseries, a parking lot, some food stalls among others. The control tower was adapted to be a Cafeteria and restaurant. Despite its opening to the public at the beginning of 2018, there are still areas of the La Carlota air base that are not accessible because the projects planned as part of the park have not been completed.

Dentro de una hora salimos a pasear con ella y con mis gemelos y el nieto, vamos a ir a celebrar su cumpleaños en el Parque del Este y también vamos a ir nuevamente al Parque Simón Bolívar. Trataré de montar a mi nieto Matteo en el Avión para que sea feliz piloteando y así juegue un rato. Amigo Erne, además de grande y bello el Parque Simón Bolívar, el lugar es como una extensión del Parque del Este o Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda, porque se accede a él por el puente que atraviesa la Avenida Francisco Fajardo. Todo es nuevo, el lago de la libertad es enorme y le da al sitio una vista espectacular. El espacio es para pasar un rato agradable con la familia. Hoy volveremos a estar ahí, Con la compañía de Dios, espero que mi esposa la pase muy bien. Saludos y bendiciones. First of all, Happy Birthday to your wife. That 360 view is always the best part of the park if you want to see the wholeness of the area. At 101 hectares it is a pretty wide park too which makes walking a lot more fun and encourages recreation. Are bicycles allowed in the park?

En un sitio puedes tomar fotografía con una bonita panorámica de 360 grados. Y con respecto a la bicicleta, Si, ayer vi algunos niños manejando bicicleta, también puedes patinar pero con cuidado. El paseo con mi esposa siempre es de placer, alegría y felicidad, nos encanta estar juntos. Ya tenemos 30 años y hemos pasado la mayor parte de este tiempo juntos porque, además, hemos trabajado en las mismas instituciones educativas por mucho tiempo. Yo estoy jubilado y ella sigue activa en la actualidad, pero siempre estamos juntos. La mayoría de los cuentos de Fantasía y los cuentos de Hadas son extraordinarios, nos enseñan muchas cosas y nos hacen vivir experiencias muy bonitas.
