TOMI Homestay on White Parbaba Beach, Lake Toba.

Student farewell day will arrive in a month and I and the teaching team are looking for several recommendations for cheap hotels with breakfast with a togetherness concept and complete music facilities. There are many hotels and homestays that offer cheap prices and attractive promotions, but there are several other considerations why we have to get on and off the vehicle to find and see for ourselves what the condition of the hotel is, the proximity of existing tourist attractions and the level of beach safety for students and comfort. especially in culinary matters so that they don't starve later. Because the food we provide from the hotel is only heavy food, there are no snacks.

And one of the accommodations we visited at that time was TOMI HOMESTAY. His name is the same as my husband's name hiii..hiii. and here I see some of the facilities that we can get when staying at this homestay. And some of our considerations in this homestay are:
1. Location of the beach
Because we were going to hold a school farewell with a holiday theme, we wanted the beach not too far from the hotel and here it turns out that in front of the hotel room it directly faces the beach with nice white sand with views of the mountains too. Not far from the homestay there are also sellers of knick-knacks and clothes for those who want to buy them and don't need to look far to distant markets.

2. Room condition
The location of the beach close to the room made this home stay one of our considerations, because it is very close and there are lots of games too, but when we saw the condition of the room, it was actually quite good but not in accordance with our vision and mission as well as our goal of holding this farewell event. The condition of the mattresses being too close together gives the impression of being dirty and like a refugee camp, while there are only 1 bathroom in each room, this is impossible and I'm sure my students will protest later.
Even though there are other facilities in the room, namely a small kitchen, gas stove, rice cooker and free drinking water, it is not really worth it because we want to have fun and make a deep impression on our alma mater.
And they say this type of room can accommodate 30 students while the number of beds there is less than 10 by standard size, I can't imagine this. There is no air conditioning here either because this place is very cold, but if we choose this room with crowded conditions then what will happen to my students there...ha...ha...

3. Availability of breakfast
And here is the minus, because they provide a kitchen in each room, they don't provide breakfast and another weakness is that there is no restaurant here. So we decided that even though this homestay was quite cheap, we would not take this homestay.

4. Homestay prices
The price for this homestay is from around Rp. 1,500,000 up to Rp. 2,500,000 or if the exchange rate is in dollars then the room price is 94.5 US dollars to 157.5 US dollars.

So in your opinion, with the price offered and the condition of the rooms and facilities provided, is this place comfortable for my students? This is not a price issue either but a comfort issue too. And is there a homestay like this at your place? Come join my blog. Greetings MayTom, Indonesia
