The detail is amazing and the skill these artists had are on another level. Every time I see these forms of art work I always think about the length of period it would have taken to create such marvellous pieces.

And I don't think there was ever room for error on pieces such as these. They're perfect!

They had to be, if they wanted to collect their wages and not be deducted for broken pieces.
