Hi everybody. How are you? I hope you're okay. Recently I visited Semarang City, a famous city in Indonesia. Very famous. I had a nice business trip and decided to extend it with a vacation. One of the places I visited was St. Joseph's church. People here used to call this church by the name of the gedangan church.

Hello @nnurdiani. It's a delight to experience the oldest church of Semarang. With its Neo-Gothic design style, it's simply an impressive representation of mixed cultures that have thrived in Indonesia for many years.
Any particular detail in that sacred monument that has caught your curious attention and why?
That's quite interesting @nnurdiani. Religious statues are holy objects of churches and they unfold stories of human and divine manifestations. As with other religions, it makes people curious to know more about the faith. But from an architectural perspective, it's also a great opportunity to discover the diversities of the industry applied in various beliefs around the world. 😊
