Excelente post amiga, súper detallado. La arquitectura de las iglesias me parece hermosa además que se ven súper imponentes.
Aquí en Margarita le hicieron una restauración a la catedral de La Asunción y la verdad me entristeció, siento que le quitaron todo el carácter que tenía que para mí era lo que la hacía especial.
Ya antes la habían restaurado pero conservando siempre su apariencia, ahora simplemente parece otra, nada linda por cierto.

Many times the restorations what they do is to damage the heritage legacy that the structure may have, many times it is not the appropriate staff that is assigned to these restorations, before there was the Heritage Institute did exhaustive studies to not break the aesthetics or the previous technique of a restoration, but now many things seem to be done by masons who have no idea of the value of the wall to which it is covering with cement

Muchas veces las restauraciones lo que hacen es dañar el legado patrimonial que la estructura pueda tener, muchas veces no es el personal apropiado el que se destina a estas restauraciones, antes había el Instituto de Patrimonio hacía estudios exhaustivos para no romper ni la estética ni la técnica anterior de una restauración, pero ahora muchas cosas parecieran hechas por albañiles que no tienen ni la mas remota idea del valor del muro a la que está cubriendo con cemento

Es una lástima!!
