The minimum word count is one of our most important community systems by speeding up the qualifications of posts for nominations. Because the disciplines of architecture and design are sophisticated topics that could not be merely explained in a few sentences, we believe that 500 words, at least (for the English language), would be the ideal benchmark to produce acceptable quality in written format. We have been using this method for more than a year now and it has made our curation process more organized and much easier to execute.
On the other hand, authors who still insist on continuously publishing content in our community without following our rules, despite being reminded, are spamming the feed and taking advantage of extra upvotes. To stop this abuse, they would be muted. This would also ensure fairness to other contributors who have been respecting our guidelines. Hope that helps.
No worries I updated the post to include more words. But the visuals are where the quality is at with my posts as I actually go out into the world take the photos and do design manipulations to them. I'm more of an efficient writer and less of a flowery writer. As it has been said a picture is worth 1000 words.
Architecture photography and its visual manipulations are officially accepted themes as per our Community Content Criteria. Aside from your photographic skills and presentations, we would also be thrilled to experience your other interesting adventures with architecture. This way you would have more stories to talk about.
Thank you for considering our rules for publications. A warm welcome to the Architecture+Design Community! 😀
