RE: A+DPOST™, Architecture+Design Community Magazine, Volume 1 Issue 2 May 2022: Eternal Fountains

Wonderful second edition of this amazing project, all thanks to the efforts and incredible knowledge of you, dear @storiesoferne. Thank you again for creating this great initiative and for giving me the honor of participating in the iconic Issue 2!
I think that the wonderful fountain from Cebu that you are showing to us illustrates another distinctive feature of these specific pieces of urban architecture to which the magazine is now dedicated - the fountain as a meeting point. The fountain as a place where all the streets lead, the fountain as such an important place that all the streets lead to it. Is that so?
@littlebee4, every time I visit Spain, I am amazed by the many fountains in this country - street fountains in every village, even in the smallest ones. But as you yourself say, Spain is a very warm country, so they are essential parts of urban architecture. And here, in this country, I think they fully fulfill, even today, the original function of fountains - giving life, because water gives life.
@danny.green, the cascade fountain in Mogilevit looks like a great engineering and architectural achievement, created entirely for decorative and aesthetic purposes, an absolute masterpiece of construction, but again created with the thought of well-being of people - this time of their spiritual survival, peace and prosperity.
@littlebee4 and @danny.green, it was a pleasure to be in this wonderful edition with you, guys!

Hello @soulsdetour. I really hope that in the future you will visit Belarus and see all the cultural and engineering sights with your own eyes!
It's nice to be in the same magazine with you. I hope that this was not the last time when we can share interesting architectural masterpieces of our countries together.
All the best!😊

Hello, my dear @soulsdetour. Indeed, water fountains have become not only utilitarian structures but also symbolic icons of urban architecture. With regards to the Fuente Osmeña water fountain in my homeland of Cebu, this famous spot has certainly transformed into a favorite venue for congregations, programs, and as you said meeting points. As the popular saying goes "All roads lead to..." 👍

If the plan of matching the road layout of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris was pushed through, there could have been other interesting developments cropping up in my city today. Nevertheless this fountain, as a historic piece of architecture, is still and will always be a beloved cultural monument of Cebu and the Philippines. 😊

Well done on your second fantastic contribution to our community magazine! Keep doing what you do best, and until your next feature story, I wish you the greatest of health and wealth always! ❤️😎
