RE: Napoleon Orda House - Cultural Landmark of Polesie

in Architecture+Design3 years ago

Hello @danny.green. The Napoleon Orda House is such an interesting piece of heritage architecture in Belarus. Although it's more of the old Russian style rather than the Belarusian characteristic, I'm simply intrigued by the terms you described: "crowning facade" and the arched kokoshnik decorated with decorative ornaments. These design features are what make that old red brick building distinctive, and different from the surrounding edifices of its neighborhood. Thankfully, it has also been well-preserved until today. Such a fascinating work of architecture indeed! Best wishes. 😊

Hello my friend storiesoferne! I try to diversify the text with interesting terms.😊 Against the background of the surrounding houses, this building seemed interesting to me. Especially the facade and its elements. I think that the house of Napoleon Orda looked great at the time of construction and will look great for many years to come. It seems to me that such buildings will never lose their "aesthetic relevance". And I am glad that I have the opportunity to enjoy such architecture and share it with the whole world. Particularly thanks to you.👍
Happy weekend and best wishes.😊
