Hello @sahiba-rana! It's with pleasure to warmly welcome you to the Architecture+Design Community! And to answer your question, yes definitely, our new buildings must be designed to be "Green". These are not upcoming technologies but are current standards. In fact, they are already widely implemented in most if not all of our world's latest architecture. Only so would our built environments continue to thrive and be more friendly to Mother Nature. Our "Green Practices" or what we call "Sustainability" must not only be trends but, ideally must be humanity's way of life!
