Greetings dear friend @sorprendente. Such an impressive church from Colombia! Of all its architectural features, the portholes and the cross-shaped stained glass windows struck me the most. Those circular openings on its exterior facade almost transformed the entire edifice to resemble a cruise ship on the ocean, haha 😁
Moreover, I'm glad that the immediate neighborhood of that religious building was also improved, especially the much-needed renovations done to the adjacent park, streets, pavements and walkways. It's even much better now that vehicular traffic and crowd noise have been isolated from its surroundings, providing a tranquil environment for parishioners and other visitors. 😊 Hope to get a glimpse of its interior spaces someday. Cheers! 👍
Hello dear friend @storiesoferne first of all I thank you for the honor I receive from you and @aplusd by selecting my post with the Gold Mark. Yes my friend, I find what you say very accurate, the temple looks like a fancy cruise ship with all those portholes around it that look like the hatches of a big ship 😁
I hope to find the temple open someday and maybe I dare to enter to show it from inside to the Architecture+Design Community 👍 I have never entered a catholic church as I say, because images to worship scare me since I was a kid 🙁. But well let's see what I achieve from the door, and a few more steps inside, haha 😇 Most likely, it will be open on Sundays. Thank you so much friend for leaving your impressions on my post, I always appreciate your words and it's an honor to receive them. Blessings to you and your family! 😊
