RE: C.V.G Monument Square [ENG/ESP]

in Architecture+Design2 years ago

Hello @wilfredocav. Public squares have always been emblematic landmarks for towns, cities, and other urban communities. The C.V.G Monument Square, being a tribute to its corporation's workers, is a great example of its location's architecture, likewise representing the historic culture, tradition, people, and natural resources of its original site. 😊

What design elements of that square have impressed you the most and why?

Sort:

Of those elements that I like about the square, I would say its great space and harmony, with respect to the use of nature, because previously that place was all trees, then they took advantage of some trees to be part of the design of this square, also it is a very central point, where we quickly find hotels, shopping malls and terminals. While aesthetically, I am struck by the sculpture that is on the pedestal, which can not be appreciated well, but it is a sculpture of 3 women, representing the union of the 3 main races in our country. Greetings !

Wow! Excellent choice @wilfredocav. Your explanation is clear evidence of the design strategy, thoughtful analysis, and professional care the Architects and Designers have produced for that iconic square. Best regards. 😊

Thank you always for the appreciation, and it is so even if we are not talking about a large infrastructure, it still has its value in the details and planning in the design.
