Greetings, dear friends of #architecturedesign. Today I want to share with you another shopping center on the island.
The Shopping Center Parque Costa Azul is located on Avenida Jovito Villalba, Sector Pampatar, in the state of Nueva Esparta. This is one of the most complete shopping centers, according to what I could appreciate in my tour.

El Centro Comercial Parque Costa Azul se encuentra ubicado en la Avenida Jovito Villalba, Sector Pampatar, en el estado Nueva Esparta. Este es uno de los centros comerciales más completos, según lo que pude apreciar en mi recorrido.
The parking lot is quite extensive, which is to be expected, as this shopping center is one of the largest on the island. On its exterior, little paint is used, as part of its block walls are exposed and part is covered with square and rectangular panels. These panels have LED lights on their edges that constantly change color, offering a wonderful view at dusk. It is a unique and very eye-catching decoration at night.
El estacionamiento es bastante extenso, lo que es de esperarse, ya que este centro comercial es uno de los más grandes de la isla. En su exterior, se utiliza poca pintura, ya que una parte de sus paredes de bloque está expuesta y otra parte está cubierta con paneles cuadrados y rectangulares. Estos paneles tienen luces LED en sus bordes que cambian constantemente de color, ofreciendo una vista maravillosa al anochecer. Es una decoración singular y muy vistosa durante la noche.
The mall has several entrances with large sliding glass doors, each with a different name, making it easy to locate if you have stayed with friends. The main entrance is near the spacious parking lot, but the door most used by passersby is the one called "Saman", located near the bus stop.
El centro comercial cuenta con varias entradas con grandes puertas de vidrio corredizas, cada una con un nombre diferente, facilitando la ubicación si te has quedado con amigos. La entrada principal se encuentra cerca del espacioso estacionamiento, pero la puerta más utilizada por los transeúntes es la llamada "Saman", situada cerca de la parada de autobús.
As I mentioned before, I like well-lit spaces, and the Costa Azul Mall does not disappoint. Almost all of its spaces are illuminated with recessed ceiling lights, mostly square and arranged at an appropriate distance, providing optimal lighting. In addition, decorative lamps are interspersed in various shapes that embellish the environment.
Como he mencionado antes, me gustan los espacios bien iluminados, y el Centro Comercial Costa Azul no me decepciona. Casi todos sus espacios están iluminados con luces empotradas en el techo, principalmente cuadradas y dispuestas a una distancia adecuada, proporcionando una iluminación óptima. Además, se intercalan lámparas decorativas de diversas formas que embellecen el entorno.
In some areas, the roof has undulating glass shapes that, during the day, provide natural light to the mall, offering excellent clarity. In these areas, when sunlight is sufficient, the electric lights are turned off to take full advantage of the natural lighting.
En algunas áreas, el techo tiene formas onduladas de vidrio que, durante el día, proporcionan luz natural al centro comercial, ofreciendo una claridad excelente. En estas zonas, cuando la luz solar es suficiente, se apagan las luces eléctricas para aprovechar al máximo la iluminación natural.
The floor is made of polished granite, and in the center there are planters of different shapes next to benches where you can rest, giving this central area a beautiful and charming touch. In addition, they are adorned with works by different artists. On this occasion, they have placed butterflies decorated by different artists, filling the space with color and art.
El piso es de granito pulido, y en el centro hay jardineras de diferentes formas junto a bancos donde se puede descansar, otorgando a esta área central un toque bello y encantador. Además, están adornados con obras de diferentes artistas. En esta ocasión, han colocado mariposas decoradas por diferentes artistas, llenando de color y arte el espacio.
Each store is decorated according to the service it offers, respecting certain standards of decoration. Currently, some stores are empty due to the economic crisis, since maintaining a store in a shopping center of this category can be costly.
Cada local está decorado acorde al servicio que ofrece, respetando ciertas normas de decoración. Actualmente, algunos locales están vacíos debido a la crisis económica, ya que mantener un local en un centro comercial de esta categoría puede resultar costoso.
There is an area known as the food fair, where several establishments offer a wide gastronomic variety. There is a large space with tables for you to choose your favorite area. Parents with children tend to choose near the escalators, as there is an enclosed play area at the top where children can have fun. A few steps away, there is also a children's hairdressing salon that is very popular with the little ones, as they often provide treats.
Existe un área conocida como la feria de comida, donde varios establecimientos ofrecen una amplia variedad gastronómica. Hay un gran espacio con mesas para que elijas tu área preferida. Los padres con niños suelen escoger cerca de las escaleras eléctricas, ya que en la parte superior hay un área de juegos cerrada donde los niños pueden divertirse. A pocos pasos, también hay una peluquería infantil que es muy popular entre los más pequeños, pues suelen brindar golosinas.
The food fair is one of the few areas of the mall with two floors, and from the balcony you can see the entire fair.
The roof of this area has metal structures and long light fixtures that decorate and illuminate the entire space.
La feria de comida es una de las pocas áreas del centro comercial con dos plantas, y desde el balcón se puede observar toda la feria.
El techo de esta área cuenta con estructuras metálicas y largas luminarias que decoran e iluminan todo el espacio.
Next to the stairs is the movie theater, which has a very comfortable waiting area where you can enjoy a snack while waiting for your movie. Generally, popcorn and refreshments are reserved to be enjoyed inside the theater.
Al lado de las escaleras se encuentra el cine, que dispone de un área de espera muy cómoda donde puedes disfrutar de un refrigerio mientras esperas la hora de tu película. Generalmente, las palomitas y los refrescos se reservan para disfrutar dentro de la sala.
The farthest door, called "Bamboo", gives access to a beautiful fountain on the way out.
La puerta más alejada, llamada "Bambú", da acceso a una hermosa fuente al salir.
Off to the left, we come across the Sigo market, a favorite place for many visitors who, after touring the mall, take the opportunity to do their shopping before leaving; I am one of those people.
Saliendo a la izquierda, nos encontramos con el mercado de Sigo, un lugar preferido por muchos visitantes que, tras recorrer el centro comercial, aprovechan para hacer sus compras antes de marcharse; yo soy una de esas personas.

What a beautiful shopping center sister, everything is very nice and clean, what I liked most is the green note provided by the vegetation included in the design and those large butterflies finished beautifying those places that are my favorites, very beautiful decoration 👍🏽👋🏽👌🏽❤️😍
