Actually, Rumah Go'a is not a new or unfamiliar place for me. This café is often used for literacy events, such as: poetry nights, or similar events. Since I'm also a member of poetry, theatre and other similar arts communities, I often attend these events. However, since the events are usually held at night, I can't show you how beautiful the design of this back-to-nature cafe is.
Therefore, my friend and I recently went back to visit during the day, not only to relax while eating, but also to enjoy the live music that sounds very pleasant to listen to.
Rumah Go'a is a food and beverage business owned by one of the country's artists who was famous as a sports MC during his prime. Now, the artist is involved in politics, the culinary business, a religious figure, as well as an influential artist and cultural figure in the city.
This is not the only FnB business of his that carries a good design, another one is not far from here. But, this time, let's focus on Rumah Go'a.
The tagline Hiden Gem is very often used by influencers who visit unique places to go viral. It's like a magic word that can attract social media users. However, I also agree that Rumah Go'a is a Hiden Gem that deserves to be visited for the experience of enjoying a cafe with a cool atmosphere in the middle of a humid and hot city.
Rumah Go'a is located behind a railway station in South Tangerang. Jurangmangu Station. While most cafes have a terrace and easy access to the main road, this is not the case for Rumah Go'a. The access to this café is the same access to the station where there is only a footpath. So, do visitors have no trouble? Well, this has actually never been a problem for visitors, because some of them actually enjoy access by train, while others use private vehicles and park their vehicles at the station.

Why did I come to this conclusion? On a small plot of land, at the back corner of the station and in a condition where the land is not evenly distributed, an aesthetically pleasing café can be created? That's what I admire about Rumah Go'a café. Because the land is narrow and uneven, Rumah Go'a café was designed in a stepped manner. It's not like it was built with a number of floors, but the seating for visitors was adjusted to follow the shape of the land. The result? Very aesthetic and impressive. In fact, each seat is designed differently from chairs, tables and even the atmosphere.

Some are in the form of elongated chairs and wood, some are lesehan, some are designed with used televisions arranged in such a way as to give a vintage impression. Some of the favourite corner from visitors are the ones facing the river. That's right, this café is also on the side of the railway tracks. But, fear not, the river in this lane is kept clean even though this is in a big city that is thick with the stigma of a slum river. In Go'a that is not the case.
Recently, Go'a's house was also very viral in the social media universe, because when you are eating, there is a seating spot that faces the train tracks. So, while eating while watching the train pass by. Is that not noisy? Surprisingly ... we hear more serene things from the passing train. After all, the train schedule is also not regular.
There are a lot of shady trees in the cafe and its surroundings, which makes the cafe have a lot of cool and breezy air.

Every Tuesday, Rumah Go'a has a podcast programme that can be watched live or live streaming on its social media. The material for podcasts can be about art, literacy, religion, and sometimes even general themes. Well, for this podcast space, Rumah Go'a also provides an indoor space that is no less beautiful. Here there is a lot of use of used goods which are then used as artistic displays.
How, does the design of this place inspire you? Thank you for listening to my writing. See you in my next review.

Hi, I am the child of the universe, I like to read books with various genres. I was born in the city of batik but can't draw batik yet. I want to be a novelist, but my works are only short poems that are included in anthology books.

That cafe looks unique but the view is attractive..
That's right. Always attractive and suitable for all ages
ini tempat yang punya dik doang ya mba, sering nonton di tv dulu
That's right @dewabrata
I love how they’ve used the land creatively and made such a unique space. It must be so cool to attend those poetry nights and live music events.
I also agree. Uneven ground in the hands of the right creative person can produce work that remains good, functional and long-lasting.
Thank you for commenting dan stoping by. Have a great day, dear @iamlovelykate !
the cafe is really cool, sis. There is no cafe like that in Medan. cool sis
Agreed. Don't forget to visit this cafe if one day you visit Jakarta or South Tangerang. Thank you for your appreciating, @tomidiwirja
The place has a great style and very particular in addition, the staggered construction allows to take advantage of the land and a beautiful view of the landscape, definitely the ideal place to relax.
