Enjoy the beach view at Café JTS Tao Toba, North Sumatra

After being satisfied with the previous post about cafes that present various natural charms that show the charm of the beauty of Mount Sinabung, now I will show you the cafe that I visited with my wife, where this cafe is located on the outskirts of Lake Toba, whose beauty is beyond doubt. And because the Lake Toba area is very wide, I would say that this Café is located in the white sand beach area of Parbaba, so when you want to come here you have to cross by ferry to the Ambarita area or Parapat area, then continue to the white sand of Parbaba and you can enjoy the beauty. Lake Toba from this ferry and see how the local people sell their wares using unique language and methods typical of the Batak tribe.

This cafe is right on the edge of a sloping beach so that when you order food here you can also jump into the water to enjoy the fresh water of Lake Toba which tastes fresh, not salty, because this is not the sea but a lake, which of course is not fresh water here too. there are no waves.

And regarding the concept of this cafe, this cafe tries to mix modern and traditional elements together and usually this concept is successful, but for me when I saw the combination in this cafe, I didn't have a deep impression about the design of the cafe because it was too forced and ended up being ordinary. without any impression of where the axis of the café building will actually go and what style of building it will follow. So the impression was just normal for me and my friends, so we only enjoyed the white sand and sea water when we visited there.

If you look at the roof of this Café, visitors will immediately know that the roof is not far from the Batak tribe and the materials used in building this Café are 50 percent permanent stone and 50 percent are planks. The modern impression is in the choice of accessories that complement the café, then the stone pattern which is colored black and white here, then the roof crossbars made from steel frames which are actually very aesthetic if the combination of each element is not too forced. Because actually there are lots of cafes that are very simple but give the impression that the cafe is cool, but that's not the case with the cafe I visited.

However, at the back of the café, I am a little amused that the walls of the café behind the café are patterned with a play of colors on the wall wallpaper. And above it there is a lamp which is accessorized with a pretty cool design so that the back of the Café has an aesthetic value, then I saw in another corner there was a flower arrangement which was made with an iron frame and resembled a bicycle frame. Then the arrangement of the types of chairs in this Café starts from semi-sofa seating, wooden chairs made from naturally varnished pieces of wood, and beach chairs for relaxing. There is also a swing if we want to take photos and create a beach background.

And overall, I don't think the Café, which was built right next to the JTS Hotel, which has a 4 star hotel rating, is very impressive in terms of the architecture of the building, but I like the beautiful view here. So it doesn't matter if I come here to enjoy the beach and order a cup or two of tea to accompany our day when we visit there. What do you think about this cafe?

It feels like it's been a long time since I've been to Lake Toba. There are a lot of changes, I want to go there as soon as possible😍

Now there are many new destinations on Lake Toba. nice and beautiful. However, for a holiday to Lake Toba we have to be prepared for lots of illegal fees. a lot of money coming in which I think is a bit expensive. In contrast to destinations in Aceh, most of which are free. Thanks @aswita for stopping by. Hopefully one day tourism in North Sumatra can be like Aceh. not many illegal levies.

Congratulations @tomidiwirja!

Hi @tomidiwirja It's great that you enjoyed with your friends, the natural view is beautiful. I agree with your viewpoints on design of the cafe but still it's a good to go.
Keep posting.

Thank you @praditya, many cafes are now adopting a different point of view. some are like traditional houses, some are like classic houses in the countryside, there are also modern houses. various ways to attract customers.

I loved how minimalistic the decor....at the same time it looks beautiful and elegant 😊. Thanks for sharing
