This time I share with you two buildings that are located in the firstborn of the American Continent, Cumana, Venezuela. These are located in one of the most famous streets in the city known as Calle Comercio.
This street is very busy because it is located near the Plaza Miranda (center of the city) and the State Government. It is also very busy because it has a great variety of commercial establishments where we can buy mainly electrical products, clothing and optical sales, but its name is due specifically because it is the street where there are many businesses that buy gold and silver. The locals also call it the street of gold.
According to information provided by a person who lives near the place, he said that these buildings are ten years old, but since the beginning they have always tried to preserve the style of the colonial era, since they are located near the historic center of Cumaná.
This person also mentioned that only one of these two buildings is currently functioning as a clothing and shoe store. It is worth mentioning that locals and people from other municipalities go to the store known as invarones in search of exclusive products for men.
The invarones store has a novel design and allusive to the colonial era, its color is very striking, with light turquoise walls, in addition, the name of the store is located on the main facade with a dark green color.
This building has a ground floor where the store operates and a level one
It also has five glass windows (three at the top and two on the first floor) in the shape of a rectangle with wrought iron bars.
In addition, it has a wrought iron gate on the main façade that is used as the main entrance to the store. Another feature that caught my attention of the invarones store is that under the windows of the second floor there are small designs alluding to the colonial era.
The window grills and the entrance door to the store are white, contrasting well with the color of the main walls.
The other building that is part of the store is currently under construction. It also has a design trying to preserve a colonial style. This has two floors and a ground floor. It has six square-shaped wrought iron windows. In addition, it has a colonial-style design at the top and bottom of each window. It also presents a column-shaped design between windows with a figure in the middle that points to the colonial era. This building is white with two gates and a main door.
Something to highlight is that the main door has a very peculiar design that takes us back to the times of yesteryear. According to information from the person who lives near the Invarones store, construction is planned to continue to conclude as soon as possible and open a new commercial establishment.
