First of all, I would like to say hello to all the Hive family. This is my first post in architecture design community. My country Pakistan has a unique culture in terms of architecture. Today I will show you some of the constructions of Lahore, the famous city of Pakistan because Lahore is a confluence of old and new buildings.
The color of Mughal architecture is very prominent in Lahore. If we go to the populated area of Lahore city, the roads and streets of the palaces in these areas are narrow. But in these narrow streets, if we look at the sky, we see tall buildings touching the sky.
The bazaar and plaza-like buildings in Lahore city also reflect the old style of construction. The city of Lahore is also called the city of narrow streets and the city of walls is also called Lahore.
I have tried to sit on Chanakchi and take pictures of the buildings around Lahore city road. But during the journey I have had a lot of difficulty in taking pictures because of the crowd on the road because the crowd was so big and I was not allowed to stop to take pictures and if I tried to stop somewhere the traffic would be blocked.
سب سے پہلے، میں تمام Hive خاندان کو سلام کہنا چاہوں گا۔ یہ آرکیٹیکچر ڈیزائن کمیونٹی میں میری پہلی پوسٹ ہے۔ میرا ملک پاکستان فن تعمیر کے حوالے سے منفرد ثقافت رکھتا ہے۔ آج میں آپ کو پاکستان کے مشہور شہر لاہور کی کچھ تعمیرات دکھاؤں گا کیونکہ لاہور پرانی اور نئی عمارتوں کا سنگم ہے۔ لاہور میں مغل فن تعمیر کا رنگ بہت نمایاں ہے۔ لاہور شہر کے آبادی والے علاقے میں جائیں تو ان علاقوں میں محلوں کی سڑکیں اور گلیاں تنگ نظر آتی ہیں۔ لیکن ان تنگ گلیوں میں اگر ہم آسمان کی طرف دیکھیں تو ہمیں اونچی اونچی عمارتیں آسمان کو چھوتی نظر آتی ہیں۔ لاہور شہر میں بازار اور پلازہ نما عمارتیں بھی پرانے طرز تعمیر کی عکاسی کرتی ہیں۔ لاہور شہر کو تنگ گلیوں کا شہر بھی کہا جاتا ہے اور دیواروں کا شہر لاہور بھی۔ میں نے چانکچی پر بیٹھ کر لاہور سٹی روڈ کے اردگرد کی عمارتوں کی تصویریں لینے کی کوشش کی ہے۔ لیکن سفر کے دوران سڑک پر ہجوم کی وجہ سے تصویریں کھینچنے میں کافی دقت ہوئی ہے کیونکہ ہجوم بہت زیادہ تھا اور مجھے تصاویر لینے کے لیے رکنے کی اجازت نہیں تھی اور اگر میں نے کہیں رکنے کی کوشش کی تو ٹریفک بلاک ہو جائے گی۔
At that time, if we look around the city of Lahore, we will notice that the color of all kinds of construction is prominent in the buildings of Lahore city. We see reflections of Western and European architecture, Mughal architecture, five hundred year old architecture and all kinds of architecture. When the metro train was being built in Lahore, many ancient buildings were demolished and many buildings witnessing our history were destroyed but it was also a compulsion because roads were also to be built. But I tried to show you this structure of Lahore through this community.
اس وقت اگر ہم لاہور شہر کا جائزہ لیں تو نظر آئے گا کہ لاہور شہر کی عمارتوں میں ہر قسم کی تعمیرات کا رنگ نمایاں ہے۔ ہم مغربی اور یورپی فن تعمیر، مغل فن تعمیر، پانچ سو سال پرانے فن تعمیر اور ہر قسم کے فن تعمیر کے مظاہر دیکھتے ہیں۔ لاہور میں جب میٹرو ٹرین بن رہی تھی تو کئی قدیم عمارتیں منہدم ہوئیں اور ہماری تاریخ کی گواہ کئی عمارتیں تباہ ہوئیں لیکن یہ بھی مجبوری تھی کیونکہ سڑکیں بھی بننا تھیں۔ لیکن میں نے اس کمیونٹی کے ذریعے آپ کو لاہور کا یہ ڈھانچہ دکھانے کی کوشش کی۔
While I was sitting in the car, I saw this beautiful building and while I was making these pictures, a big bird was flying over the dome of the mosque and in the picture you can see the flight of the bird. Then I made another picture and you can see the sunrise scene.
جب میں گاڑی میں بیٹھا تھا تو میں نے اس خوبصورت عمارت کو دیکھا اور جب میں یہ تصاویر بنا رہا تھا تو مسجد کے گنبد پر ایک بڑا پرندہ اڑ رہا تھا اور تصویر میں آپ پرندے کی اڑان دیکھ سکتے ہیں۔ پھر میں نے ایک اور تصویر بنائی اور آپ طلوع آفتاب کا منظر دیکھ سکتے ہیں۔

lahore is capital of Punjab. lahore city is built hundred year ago. Lahore city has big walls and surrounded by wall. there is one biggest historical palace that give the view of old building view ,that time technology was not very much advance but if we see the badshai masjid and shesh palace that give great old building design view so Lahore city has many culture in building structure also. so there are many design in building , modern building has many step in structure. but here i want to give information that if we go to small cities and in village, there is different building structure in Pakistan. so people live in simple building that built with mud and people built house with straw and mud mixture. so pakistan has great tradition and strucuture in building construction. so my this post has big city building view, so i will do my best effort to bring my villages building view also so it is my first entry to take participate in this community. i love my pakistan and pakistan is developing country in building structure also.
لاہور پنجاب کا دارالحکومت ہے۔ لاہور شہر سو سال پہلے بنا۔ لاہور شہر کی بڑی دیواریں ہیں اور چاروں طرف سے دیواریں ہیں۔ یہاں ایک سب سے بڑا تاریخی محل ہے جو پرانی عمارت کا منظر پیش کرتا ہے، اس وقت ٹیکنالوجی بہت زیادہ ترقی یافتہ نہیں تھی لیکن اگر ہم بادشاہی مسجد اور شیش محل کو دیکھیں جو پرانی عمارتوں کے ڈیزائن کا بہترین منظر پیش کرتے ہیں تو لاہور شہر کی عمارتوں کے ڈھانچے میں بھی بہت سی ثقافت موجود ہے۔ . لہذا عمارت میں بہت سے ڈیزائن ہیں، جدید عمارت کی ساخت میں بہت سے قدم ہیں. لیکن یہاں میں یہ معلومات دینا چاہتا ہوں کہ اگر ہم چھوٹے شہروں اور گاؤں میں جائیں تو پاکستان میں عمارت کا ڈھانچہ مختلف ہے۔ اس لیے لوگ سادہ عمارت میں رہتے ہیں جو مٹی سے بنی ہوتی ہے اور لوگوں نے بھوسے اور کیچڑ کے مرکب سے گھر بنایا ہوتا ہے۔ لہٰذا پاکستان میں عمارتوں کی تعمیر میں عظیم روایت اور ڈھانچہ ہے۔ اس لیے میری اس پوسٹ میں بڑے شہر کی عمارت کا منظر ہے، اس لیے میں اپنی پوری کوشش کروں گا کہ اپنے گاؤں کی عمارت کا منظر بھی پیش کروں، اس لیے اس کمیونٹی میں حصہ لینے کے لیے یہ میرا پہلا داخلہ ہے۔ مجھے اپنے پاکستان سے پیار ہے اور پاکستان تعمیراتی ڈھانچے میں بھی ترقی پذیر ملک ہے۔
I have made this picture above, in this picture a new building is under construction and this building is like a circle and is going up like a dome. Workers are busy building the building. We can estimate how the structures are constructed during construction. But I have also seen in old movies and in my area that construction wood is used during the construction of the building. People also build huts in small villages and small areas.
میں نے یہ تصویر اوپر بنائی ہے، اس تصویر میں ایک نئی عمارت زیر تعمیر ہے اور یہ عمارت ایک دائرے کی طرح ہے اور گنبد کی طرح اوپر جا رہی ہے۔ کارکن عمارت کی تعمیر میں مصروف ہیں۔ ہم اندازہ لگا سکتے ہیں کہ تعمیر کے دوران ڈھانچے کیسے بنائے جاتے ہیں۔ لیکن میں نے پرانی فلموں میں اور اپنے علاقے میں یہ بھی دیکھا ہے کہ عمارت کی تعمیر کے دوران تعمیراتی لکڑی کا استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔ لوگ چھوٹے چھوٹے گاؤں اور چھوٹے علاقوں میں جھونپڑیاں بھی بناتے ہیں۔
This is a beautiful mosque. This mosque was built of white stone and it is said that white stone stays cool in hot weather and converts heat intensity into cold but this stone is used in construction of many mosques. Along with this, mosques are built in a very unique way. The courtyard of mosques is wide and thousands of worshipers can offer prayers under one roof. You can see how beautiful the white stone is built. And this stone looks so beautiful.
یہ ایک خوبصورت مسجد ہے۔ یہ مسجد سفید پتھر سے بنائی گئی تھی اور کہا جاتا ہے کہ سفید پتھر گرم موسم میں ٹھنڈا رہتا ہے اور گرمی کی شدت کو سردی میں بدل دیتا ہے لیکن یہ پتھر کئی مساجد کی تعمیر میں استعمال ہوتا ہے۔ اس کے ساتھ ساتھ مسجدیں بھی بہت منفرد انداز میں بنائی گئی ہیں۔ مساجد کے صحن وسیع ہیں اور ہزاروں نمازی ایک ہی چھت کے نیچے نماز ادا کر سکتے ہیں۔ آپ دیکھ سکتے ہیں کہ سفید پتھر کی تعمیر کتنی خوبصورت ہے۔ اور یہ پتھر بہت خوبصورت لگتا ہے۔
The building reflects modern architecture. And this building uses exquisite glass. And if you look, in every country, the use of glass is increasing in construction and sometimes glass is also used in walls and ceilings to make the whole building attractive. The building houses a shopping hall and offices of various companies. The building is located near Chowk Orphanage near Metro Road. Lahore is a city of modern and ancient buildings. The city of Lahore will also see modern architecture and old buildings. If we look at the picture below, this building seems to me to be a hundred years old, but the architecture is such that we can see the same glimpse of architecture in most of the buildings in Lahore. But is Lahore focusing on modern construction or prioritizing old construction? I have seen that even 300 year old buildings are in use in Lahore at this time but with the growing population and people from other cities coming here for employment then modern style construction can be done in less space then more building. The city is focusing on modern architecture.
عمارت جدید فن تعمیر کی عکاسی کرتی ہے۔ اور اس عمارت میں شاندار شیشے کا استعمال کیا گیا ہے۔ اور اگر آپ دیکھیں تو ہر ملک میں تعمیرات میں شیشے کا استعمال بڑھتا جا رہا ہے اور بعض اوقات پوری عمارت کو پرکشش بنانے کے لیے دیواروں اور چھتوں میں بھی شیشے کا استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔ عمارت میں ایک شاپنگ ہال اور مختلف کمپنیوں کے دفاتر ہیں۔ عمارت میٹرو روڈ کے قریب چوک یتیم خانہ کے قریب واقع ہے۔ لاہور جدید اور قدیم عمارتوں کا شہر ہے۔ لاہور شہر میں جدید طرز تعمیر اور پرانی عمارتیں بھی نظر آئیں گی۔ نیچے دی گئی تصویر کو دیکھا جائے تو یہ عمارت مجھے سو سال پرانی معلوم ہوتی ہے لیکن فن تعمیر ایسا ہے کہ لاہور کی اکثر عمارتوں میں فن تعمیر کی وہی جھلک نظر آتی ہے۔ لیکن کیا لاہور جدید تعمیرات پر توجہ دے رہا ہے یا پرانی تعمیرات کو ترجیح دے رہا ہے؟ میں نے دیکھا ہے کہ لاہور میں اس وقت 300 سال پرانی عمارتیں بھی زیر استعمال ہیں لیکن بڑھتی ہوئی آبادی اور دوسرے شہروں سے لوگ یہاں روزگار کے لیے آتے ہیں تو جدید طرز کی تعمیر کم جگہ پر زیادہ عمارتوں میں کی جا سکتی ہے۔ شہر جدید فن تعمیر پر توجہ دے رہا ہے۔
Lahore is an ancient city and the people of Pakistan used to live in big houses in ancient times. Brick is used in most of the constructions in Pakistan and then when the roof was constructed it used wooden planks and wooden girders. But now people are giving up using them and iron roofs are being used. In this post I have tried to see both old and modern buildings as the city of Lahore is a reflection of these two buildings. If you have ever been to Lahore, look at the inner and outer city days of Lahore and it will help you to understand the modern and ancient traditions. Even today, the people of the inner city prefer the architecture of the ancient Mughal period in architecture. لاہور ایک قدیم شہر ہے اور پاکستان کے لوگ زمانہ قدیم میں بڑے بڑے گھروں میں رہتے تھے۔ پاکستان میں زیادہ تر تعمیرات میں اینٹ کا استعمال کیا جاتا ہے اور پھر جب چھت بنائی گئی تو اس میں لکڑی کے تختے اور لکڑی کے گرڈر استعمال کیے گئے۔ لیکن اب لوگ ان کا استعمال ترک کر رہے ہیں اور لوہے کی چھتوں کا استعمال کیا جا رہا ہے۔ اس پوسٹ میں میں نے پرانی اور جدید دونوں عمارتوں کو دیکھنے کی کوشش کی ہے کیونکہ لاہور شہر ان دونوں عمارتوں کا عکس ہے۔ اگر آپ کبھی لاہور گئے ہیں تو لاہور کے اندرونی اور بیرونی شہر کے دنوں کو دیکھیں اس سے آپ کو جدید اور قدیم روایات کو سمجھنے میں مدد ملے گی۔ آج بھی اندرون شہر کے لوگ فن تعمیر میں قدیم مغلیہ دور کے فن تعمیر کو ترجیح دیتے ہیں۔ اگر آپ کو میرے شہر لاہور کا یہ سفر پسند آیا تو آپ مجھے کمنٹس میں ضرور بتائیں اور آپ کی حوصلہ افزائی ہی میری طاقت ہے۔

پاکستان بہت خوبصورت ملک ہے اور پاکستان کے ہر شہر میں عمارتوں کی خوبصورتی ہے جو دیکھنے والوں کو ان عمارتوں کے قریب لاتی ہے۔ آئیں اور پاکستان کی عمارت کی خوبصورتی کا جائزہ لیں، میں اپنے شہر لاہور کی ان تصاویر کو شیئر کرتے ہوئے فخر محسوس کر رہا ہوں، اور امید ہے کہ آپ سب کو لاہور شہر کی عمارت کے بارے میں میری یہ تصویریں پسند آئیں گی۔ ہر شہر کی اپنی قیمت سے متعلق عمارت ہوتی ہے لہٰذا لاہور کی بھی اس حوالے سے بہت اہمیت ہے۔

I haven't been to Pakistan yet, but your fascinating virtual tour of Lahore, the capital city of the province of Punjab, already made me feel like being there.
