Good afternoon everyone.
For the past few months l have been looking through hive and mostly trying to brainstorm what l could create or do to make hive a bit more fun or bring more action you could say.
Eventually, l was searching through communities to see if there were any Poker communities and l did find two but unfortunately they are now basically dead; so l wanted to bring back poker to hive.
How?
- Firstly, l will be creating my own Poker game which l have already started and have been improving it for the past few weeks. Now it may be pretty stupid to do that as they are so many other platforms where l could just set up a server or club where we can all play, but l thought that would be boring and is too easy and why not create my own thats made especially for Hive, furthermore as a community we can make our own ideas and make the game to our preferences which will make it more engaging.
Weekly Challenges or Monthly Tournaments?:
- Now this will be depending on how active Hive.poker will be and how many people we will have - however at the start l would probably want to do monthly tournaments as it may get boring if we play every week - let me know in the comments what you would prefer.
Will there be prizes?:
- Absolutely as that makes the game more competitive and rewarding, once l launch the game l will set a prize pool that will be distributed to the top two people and once again depending on how many people we will have. This also gets me to the next point!
Why and how will l use the funds l receive?:
- If l do receive any funds they will be going towards the game costs and the prize pool.
When and how l will be launching Poker?:
- l will be creating a community soon, once l have 3 hive under the name; Hive.Poker or Hive_Poker_Club.
- Currently l'm set on launching the game in mid-December and l will keep you updated every post l do.
What support l'd like?:
All l'd like is that my posts/project gets as much attention as it can!

How will this help hive:
Before l go on, the game will only be using fake money.
- It will bring all Poker fans together thus bringing more engagement to hive, moreover if we do have contests it will also bring more activity to hive, and it may even teach people not to actually use real money to gamble...
This is how far l've gotten, yes it looks very boring but currently it functions properly and there are some minors bugs l need to fix before making the style much better - l will be adding more tables and l will be adding a proper login way with hive in the following weeks.
Wow first time seeing this sounds like really great idea. I just follwed you I cant wait to see more of this definetly will be palying.
