Reflections of Connemara
I am lucky to live on the doorstep of Connemara on the West Coast of Ireland. It's rugged beauty is popular with tourists from around the world and it's not just the tourists who appreciate it either. I love taking a spin out West to take in the unique vistas, some of which I'll share with you below. As you'll have heard me saying previously or any Irish person will say to you, it rains a lot in Ireland and it rains even more in the West of Ireland. The day I captured these shots was a beautiful sunny day however with only a few large cumulus clouds in the deep blue sky.
There is something special about Connemara and it's majestic mountains and this particular day you could see them twice, once as they are and once reflected in the lake. One of the lakes has some trees at the back too which I alsp captured on the double. I hope you enjoy my shots.

Thanks a million, ya Connemara is well worth a visit if you ever make it to Ireland, and you're right the terrain and even the climate is very similar to that of New Zealand.
