They say that in summer a person misses winter, and in winter the opposite happens - he wants summer. I agree about the second part, but I think differently about the first part. Winter can be missed by fans of winter sports, and I am not one of them.
But in winter I have entertainment - a bird feeder outside the window and a lot of birds!
Periodically viewing the photo archive in order to delete unnecessary photos and clean up the space on a magnetic medium led me to a photo of a small bird in winter. But I was interested in her shadow!
This bird is called "chechetka" (чечетка) in Russian.
In Russian, this is also called the step dance
Why are the names so consonant? I can't even say anything about it.
I told you about this bird in winter. I saw her for the first time this winter.
I will say more - this winter, several varieties of birds appeared at my feeder outside the window, which I had not met before. But the most surprising thing was the appearance of a woodpecker. What did he want to see? I do not know, but I managed to see it and take some photos.
I noticed that the tap dancers did not take seeds from the feeder itself, they picked up crumbs that were lying on the snow under the feeder. Maybe this is due to the size of their beak. Maybe they don't have enough strength to split a sunflower seed.
Now we have already experienced the middle of July. I counted the weeks, the days off, and it turns out that because of my upcoming trips, because of my wife's trips, August will end very quickly and autumn will begin. I need to have time to make heating updates. I'll start this weekend. Next weekend I will go on a little trip with my children.
