The Witch's Bench

This is my application for the contest Shadow Hunters Community SMASh Contest- Round 446 by @melinda010100

Hey, @melinda010100.
How’s it going?
Today I decided to show, by contrast, two of my walks - yesterday's on Saturday and today's on Sunday. They have one thing in common: a walk along almost the same route, and a damn cold north wind.
The main difference is the Sun in the sky and shadows on the Ground.
Yesterday, there were clouds in the sky, and today the Sun is bright, and there are no clouds at all.

This post is for #SublimeSunday is inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday is initiated by @ace108

This year, I began to walk my dog more often to the lime quarry and to Witch Mountain. In previous years, there was a bad path to this place, but this year the motorcyclists made a very comfortable road even in wet weather. Back in the spring, I noticed that the road now goes further than this mountain, and I began to walk along it. By the way, I can see from the stone pyramids that people are walking through this forest, not just motorcyclists, but I have never met people here. Why? The answer is simple: I walk early in the morning when people are still asleep, especially young people.

5 years ago, after a trip to Karelia, I erected the first stone pyramid in this forest. That pyramid is still periodically disintegrating and growing again.
I built this pyramid in early September. But someone made it more interesting. Who does she look like?

This is the first time I've come down to this place. People marked it on the map as a Troll Glade. Judging by the motorcycle tracks, this is a very popular place for bikers. Here you can practice descents and ascents.
Looking ahead, I want to say that today, on a bright sunny day, I also took pictures here, but they turned out to be very bad. My Nikon d5300 camera is in need of repair at the moment, so I'm taking an old Sony small camera. This camera does not like bright light.

Yesterday I reached the new old lime quarry. 7 years ago, quarry development began in an open field. He worked for 2 years, and in the winter of 2019-2020, you could hear a specific sound from the quarry every day. And suddenly everything stopped... The quarry stopped working.

My Burrow was the first to go up the rocks. I followed her. It wasn't difficult.

Approximately 2/3 of the quarry is covered with ground from the new quarry development. This is a smart decision, by the way.

Sunday. Bright Sun. The wind; the temperature is 0.
In the forest, of course, there is a solid shadow, and I did not even have thoughts of catching a shadow, but the bench screamed - take a picture of me!

Yesterday there was a camera on the bench, and today there is a dog leash.

This is another bonus - mushrooms.

Шикарное место! Я бы сказал живописное)

О, спасибо за прекрасную оценку. Главное, чтобы не было дождя. :) А то под ногами глина с перемесью известковых камушков.

Nice shadows. Thanks for entering the SMASH contest!

The place you showed us is stunning, but the photos of those mushrooms on the tree trunk immediately caught my attention. I'd love to immerse myself in the magic of this place for a whole day. !LADY
