Me di cuenta que Matihas, mi nieto, jugaba con la sombra en un rincón de la casa. Posaba y hacía gestos frente a una pared donde llegaban fuertes rayos de luz.
I noticed that Matihas, my grandson, was playing with the shadow in a corner of the house. He was posing and gesturing in front of a wall where strong rays of light were coming in.
Dejé al niño en su juego. Reí con sus ocurrencias. Él solo se divertía en un momento donde su creatividad se puso a prueba. Con los ojos cerrados se movía hacia un lado, hacia el otro y a la vez permitía que los rayos del sol pegaran en su cara y el cuerpo.
I left the child to his game. I laughed at his witticisms. He was just having fun in a moment where his creativity was put to the test. With his eyes closed he moved to one side, to the other and at the same time allowed the sun's rays to hit his face and body.
Fue graciosa la reacción del niño cuando me descubrió tomando fotos. Creo que se inspiró más, quiso compartir sus poses y además, se sintió bien al saber que colaboraba conmigo. Ya Matihas sabe para dónde van mis fotos.
It was funny how the boy reacted when he discovered me taking pictures. I think he was more inspired, wanted to share his poses and also felt good to know that he was collaborating with me. Matihas already knows where my photos are going.
En una anterior oportunidad, mientras hacía sus tareas, vi sombras cerca de él. Hice varias capturas y hoy aprovecho para mostrarlas.
On a previous occasion, while he was doing his homework, I saw shadows near him. I took several pictures and today I take this opportunity to show them.
Cualquiera puede pensar que cazar sombra es una tontería pero... el efecto que agrega a la imagen es interesante. En cada fotografía se muestra un concepto diferente. En las primeras se crea un toque de misterio, drama y hasta suspenso. Me divertí y aprendí mucho de estas fotografías con Mathias.
Anyone may think that shadow hunting is silly but... the effect it adds to the image is interesting. In each photograph a different concept is shown. In the first ones a touch of mystery, drama and even suspense is created. I had fun and learned a lot from these photographs with Mathias.

Hola! Ya pasó la semana pero acabo de ver tu post y me pareció muy bonito cómo capturaste a tu nieto jugando con las sombras. También la de las escaleras quedó muy bien! Es verdad lo que dices, la actividad y misión de cazar sombras puede ser muy subestimada. No es una tontería como algunos podrían pensar 😅
